Day 1 Linz, Austria | Embark

Board from 4:00 p.m. in Linz, Austria. After comfortably settling into your cabin, enjoy a welcome cocktail with the crew and dinner on board.

Day 2 Melk | Vienna, Austria

Take an excursion to the Abbey of Melk which is perched up high on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Danube. It is the symbol of Austrian baroque at its finest. After your tour get back on board, and spend the afternoon cruising toward Vienna. Arrive in Vienna, and enjoy some free time with a possibility to attend a concert of Viennese music (optional and depending on availability).

Day 3 Vienna, Austria | Bratislava, Slovakia

Join a guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace and part of the city of Vienna. The palace used to be the summer residence of the Emperor of Austria and his family. Get back on board and start a new journey toward Bratislava. Arrive and take a guided tour of the city, dominated to the north by the slopes of the southern tip of the Little Carpathians and irrigated by the Danube. The Slovakian capital enjoys a privileged position overlooking the Danube. 

Day 4 Budapest, Hungary

Arrive in Budapest and join a guided tour of the town, cut in two by the Danube. Buda inspires with its rolling hills and valleys, and Pest delights with its flat landscape that offers a panoramic view over the banks of the Danube. The city was awarded World Heritage status by UNESCO. In the afternoon spend your free time exploring this charming city on your own or simply relax on board. Enjoy a traditional folk evening in Budapest. 

Day 5 Kalocsa, Hungary | Mohacs, Hungary | Bezdan,Serbia

The next adventure takes you to Kalocsa where you can enjoy an exceptional tour of the Puszta (Great Hungarian Plain), which in the 19th century was the wild west of Hungary with a lot of herds in custody of the cowboys. Go back on board and start cruising toward Mohács, crossing the Serbian border and continuing toward Novi Sad. Enjoy an evening of entertainment on board.

Day 6 Novi Sad | Belgrade, Serbia

 Arrive early in the morning in Novi Sad and join an exclusive excursion in the city, called "Serbian Athens" for its cultural splendor during the Turkish occupation. Spend the afternoon sailing toward Belgrade. Partake in a traditional evening Belgrade-style on board.

Join a guided tour across Belgrade. This exceptional city lies at the confluence of the Sava and the Danube, near the Morava corridor which links the lower regions of the Danube to the Aegean Sea. It combines a fortress perched on high, a busy town, and a port. Belgrade is a well-spaced-out town with a modern feel where the Terazije and Republic Squares form a lively center.

Spend the day sailing, passing through customs. During the morning, pass through the famous Iron Gates, formed by the gorges surrounding the Danube between the Little Carpathians and the Balkans, a truly amazing stretch of the river. The most spectacular part of the pass used to be called “the Danube Boilers” by navigators and sailors because the water, trapped between the steep mountainous walls, seemed to bubble and boil. An elegant viaduct towers over the mouth of the river and you can see the “portrait” of the old Dacian King Decebalus carved into the rock face. Enjoy an exclusive gala evening on board.

Day 9 Ruse, Bulgaria

Arrive in Ruse, one of the great Bulgarian ports. The town is a perfect blend of Bulgarian and Romanian culture. Take a sightseeing tour of the Rusenski-Lom Valley, near the village of Ivanovo, to discover the churches and monastery chapels that were all dug out of the rock by the first hermits to settle in the area in the 12th century. In the afternoon, tour the city of Ruse. Discover a fun and cultural Folk evening on board. 

Day 10 Giurgiu | Oltenita, Romania

Depart in the early morning and arrive in Giurgiu. Join an incredible excursion to Bucharest. In the 1930s, Bucharest was nicknamed “Little Paris” due to its long boulevards lined with trees. Return on board in Oltenita. Cruise toward Tulcea and be part of an exclusive dancing evening on board.

Day 11 Tulcea, Romania

Arrive in Tulcea, the entrance to the Danube delta. In the afternoon join an excursion to the Danube delta, a very important nature reserve registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Biosphere. Return on board in Tulcea.
