Day 1 Vienna, Austria | Embark

Board in Vienna at 4:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, enjoy the presentation of the crew and a welcome cocktail. Depart at the end of the afternoon toward Passau. 

Day 2 Vienna | Passau, Germany

Spend the day sailing on one of the prettiest stretches of the Danube, the Strudengau, famous in times gone by for its whirlpools, the Nibelungengau, and all its legends. Enjoy a magical dancing afternoon on board. Arrive at the end of the afternoon in Passau. Discover the town in your free time. A university town with a rich musical and theatrical heritage, Passau's beautiful baroque buildings and romantic narrow streets linger long in your memory. Return on board and continue the journey to Regensburg.

Day 3 Regensburg

Arrive in Regensburg during the afternoon. Regensburg is the fourth largest city in Bavaria, and an important industrial center (BMW, Siemens, Triumph). Its historic center has many well-preserved buildings and artifacts accumulated during some 2,000 years of existence. Join a guided tour of Regensburg, then return on board in Kelheim. Enjoy an evening of entertainment.

Day 4 Nuremberg

Arrive in Nuremberg early in the morning and join a guided visit of the town. Nuremberg is a town that seems to come straight out of the Middle Ages. Known as the “Treasure Chest of the German Empire”, the old town is clustered around the old market square. There find Gothic buildings, half-timbered houses, and townhouses. Return on board in Erlangen. 

Day 5 Schweinfurt | Rothenburg | Gerlachshausen

This morning, your ship will cruise towards Schweinfurt. Once there, join the excursion proposed: Rothenburg, a magnificent walled town set up high on the hills over the river - its narrow streets lined with picturesque half-timbered houses and workshops. You'll return on board in Gerlachshausen and your cruise will continue to Würzburg.

Day 6 Würzburg | Wertheim

Visit Würzburg (residence of the bishop princes). Built on the right bank of the Main, Würzburg is a wonderful stop on the Romantic Road. It has a truly idyllic setting among vineyards located under the shadows of its imposing citadel - a lasting symbol of the power of the bishop princes. Return on board in Karlstad. Cruise to Wertheim.

Day 7 Wertheim | Miltenberg | Aschaffenburg

Arrive during the morning in Miltenberg. Discover the town with an accompanist. Visit the market square surrounded by half-timbered houses, as well as the Main Street and the Old Town Hall. Such attractions are why Miltenberg deserves its nickname, the “Pearl of the Main”. Cruise to Aschaffenburg.

Day 8 Aschaffenburg | Frankfurt | Mainz

Join the excursion proposed: A visit of Frankfurt also known as "Mainhattan": the nickname was given because of the river that crosses it as well as the town's status of largest financial center in continental Europe. A panoramic tour will allow you to go up the Main Tower, the most famous all-glass skyscraper in the city. Return on board and continue your cruise to Mainz. Mainz lies at the confluence of the Rhine and the Main is a perfect blend of past and present. Arrive at the end of the afternoon, join a discovery tour of the town with our onboard hostess. Tonight is your gala evening and dinner. The ship will sail towards Strasbourg through the night.

Day 9 Strasbourg, France | Disembark

This morning, our ship will sail towards Strasbourg. There will be entertainment and activities on board. Cruise the Rhone-Rhine Canal, passing through the locks in Iffezheim and Gambsheim, arriving in Strasbourg at 2:00 p.m.
