From Lyon to Martigues via Tain l'Hermitage, Avignon, Arles and the Camargue, go on an unforgettable cruise. Discover Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage city, which retales 2,000 years of history through its old cobbled streets. Visit The Chauvet-Pont-d'Arc Cave which contains some of the best-preserved figurative cave paintings in the world, as well as other evidence of Upper Paleolithic life. Day 1 Lyon | Chalon-sur-Saône | Embark

Meet up in Lyon at 4:00 p.m. in front of the Brasserie Georges for your departure by coach towards Chalon-sur-Saône. Passengers are welcome to board the ship at 5:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, you will be introduced to the crew at a welcome cocktail.

Day 2 Mâcon | Beaujolais vineyards | Lyon

Enjoy some free time on your own in the heart of Mâcon. Afterwards, join the excursion for both packages: Tour of the Beaujolais vineyards. Tonight, join the cruise through Lyon by night to admire the city lights.

Day 3 Lyon | Valley of the Côtes du Rhône

Join the excursions proposed:

CLASSIC: Panoramic tour of Lyon and discover its famous "traboules", types of passageways that are typical of the city.

DISCOVERY: Bike ride through the main monuments and districts of Lyon. Finish up your tour with a tasting of local products in the heart of the old town.
Spend the afternoon cruising towards Tain-l'Hermitage, arriving in the evening.

Day 4 Tain L'Hermitage| The Ardèche gorges

Continue cruising this morning. Discover the Pont d'Arc Cavern, a replica of the famous Chauvet Cave (only available through pre-reservation with your travel agency before your departure). Start cruising to Avignon.

Day 5 Avignon | Arles

Join a guided tour of Avignon and the Papal Palace.  Depart for Arles. Enjoy some free time in the old section of this highly cultural city, enriched with vestiges of the Roman Empire.

Day 6 The Camargue | Martigues

Join the excursions proposed:

CLASSIC: Discover the Camargue. Visit a "manade" (horse breeding farm) and learn about how a manadier works with the animals.

DISCOVERY: Safari in jeeps through the Camargue for an original immersion in the wilderness.

Continue cruising towards Martigues. Tonight is your gala dinner and evening.

Day 7 Martigues | Lyon | Disembark

Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking in Martigues at 9:00 a.m. Coach transfer back to Lyon, stopping for lunch along the way. Arrive in Lyon early in the afternoon.

For the safety of our passengers, the captain and crew of the boat may decide to modify the navigational itinerary. (1) Depending on mooring's availabilities, the stopover in Martigues may be replaced by Port Saint Louis du Rhône.
