Day 1: San Cristobal

Arrive in San Cristobal where a guide awaits to meet you and transfer you to the ship. The first excursion of the trip starts at the Galapagos National Park Interpretation Center provides a complete history of the Galapagos, primarily focusing on its volcanic origins to the present. Tijeretas Hill provides an excellent location to view the bay and the surrounding areas of San Cristobal. Have the chance to observe the magnificent and great frigate birds that wander this area.

Day 2: Española

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Punta Suarez is a unique landscape that is brimming with eye-opening lava beds where you can observe unique colonies of marine birds, including albatross. Española is very isolated from the other islands allowing it to have a high proportion of endemic fauna. Gardner bay is an excellent place for making friends with sea lions that inhabit the beach here. This location is also an important nesting area for sea turtles. Further inland, Nazca and blue-footed boobies nest near the trail and Galapagos doves peck around and finches go about their day to day business unaware of visitors. Further down the trail there is a blowhole, which is a fissure in the lava where water spurts high into the air resembling a geyser.

Day 3: Floreana

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
One of the Galapago's most famous islands due to many unique stories about past settlers is Floreana. The island has an area of 173 square km (67sq mi), and it was formed by a volcanic eruption. The island's highest point is Cerro Pajas at 640m (2,100ft). Your visit points: In the morning, go to Punta Cormoran, a site that probably offers one of the largest and the best flamingo lagoons in the Galapagos. It is situated between two tuff cones that give the area a special atmosphere. There are various species of shorebirds to be seen besides flamingos, and the most frequent are stilts, white checked pintail ducks, and other migratory birds. Post Office Bay is home to a unique “post office,” which was a wooden barrel that was used as an unofficial mailbox in the 18th century by whalers and other frequenters of the island. Continue the tradition by leaving addressed postcards in the barrel and grabbing a different postcard to mail when you return home. Floreana is also a magnificent site for swimming and kayaking. For the more adventurous guests, there is an option to visit the inside of a lava tunnel. Watch your step because this tunnel has been kept untouched and completely natural over these many years. Punta Cormorant is a great site for bird-watching. Cormorant Point has a large lagoon where an array of species, including flamingos, stilts, and pintail ducks, tend to wander. Bring binoculars so you can see these incredible creatures up close.

Day 4: Santa Cruz Island | Embark | Baltra

  • 1 Breakfast
Take a walk in the Galapagos National Park turtles breeding center and Interpretation Center “Fausto Llerena,” combined with a visit to a private farm where we find a nice green lush area on the highlands of Santa Cruz. The guides take you for a nice walk among the beautiful forest trees, including ferns and sedges, miconias, etc. And then marvel at the giant Galapagos tortoises as they roam freely in the farm, their natural habitat.  You can find a simple but nice infrastructure where you can rest and buy drinks, a beer, or try the delicious local juices at El Manzanillo farm. Transport to el Canal de Itabaca (Itabaca Channel), which you cross on a local ferry and then a bus takes you to the Airport of Baltra Island. The guide helps you with the airline check-in and says a final goodbye.
