This day tour begins at 7:00 AM from Hotel Silberstein.
Isabela is a beautiful island with a great diversity of wildlife. Upon arriving to the main dock of Puerto Villamil we will board a bus that takes us to the “Planchonales” - fresh lava formations with unique animal and plant life. Then we continue to Orchillas Hill, the great viewpoint in the highlands of Isabela where you can take the perfect panoramic pictures of the south of the island, Villamil town, and the Pacific Ocean. Throughout this tour, you will have the chance to see different species of Darwin finches.
Next, visit the white sand beach of Isabela to observe marine iguanas, blue footed boobies, and different kinds of marine birds. Snorkeling at the Concha Perla Bay, a beautiful and secluded natural pool between mangroves and lava formation where you can see turtles, rays, and different species of fish. We will walk twenty minutes through mangroves to the town of Villamil. The colours of the water, the mangroves, and lava formations are amazing along the way!
After lunch, we will continue with a visit to the wetlands, as well as the Breeding Center of Giant Tortoises and cultural center of the Galapagos National Park. Return to Puerto Ayora around 5:00 PM.

Good to ideal period to travel, and many people choose to visit at this time.
Beyond expectations! Then again we weren't sure what to expect. Lovely stay at the lodge, met other like-minded travelers (many had their trips planned by Adventure Life) and the owner was a gracious hostess. It felt like you were one happy family, visiting with a favorite aunt.

Erin is a seasoned travel planner and is very personable. She is a good listener and uses our questions and concerns to make the trip just as we want it. She is very good at moving the booking process along and meticulous with the details.
This is why we came back to have her plan this trip for us.
