Day 1: Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy | Embark

Embark the Seam Dream I from 02:00 PM - 04:00 PM.

Civitavecchia is a major port located in Rome, primarily utilized for maritime transportation of goods, as well as a fishing port. The commune’s name means “ancient town” and is one of the “Motorways of the Sea” in the Mediterranean, functioning as one of the main links between the mainland of Italy and Sardinia. Popular points of interest include the Forte Michelangelo, Terme Taurine, and Cattedrale di San Francesco. There is a wealth of Roman and Vatican architecture and tourists are encouraged to visit many of the museums and take the cultural tours available in this important sea port.

Day 2: Capri, Italy

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Capri may very well be the most popular island on the planet. It is a beautiful Italian island in the Tyrrhenian Sea just off the Sorrentine Peninsula, on the south side of the Bay of Naples. Capri town is the island’s main population center. The island has two harbors, Marina Piccola and Marina Grande (the main port of the island). The separate village of Anacapri is located high on the hills to the west. From there, visitors can continue up to the highest point, Mt. Solero. Besides some simply amazing shopping boutiques, the island has so much to offer including the famous Grotta Azzurra, Villa Jovis, Giardini di Augusto, Certosa di San Giacomo, Villa San Michele di Axel Munthe, and the uniquely shaped Faraglioni rocks. SeaDream has put together most of the sights into one land adventure called “Discovering the Island of Love.” There are also some great hikes available on the island, check with the activities team on board for details.

Depart in the afternoon and sail to Amalfi, Italy.

Day 3: Amalfi, Italy

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Amalfi is a picturesque town in the province of Salerno, in the Campania region of Italy. With its incredible views, it is the central town that makes up the very famous and UNESCO awarded Amalfi Coast (Costiera Amalfitana). Amalfi sports some impressive medieval architecture including; its cathedral of Sant'Andrea (St. Andrew), the church tower, and the convent of the Cappuccini, founded by the Amalfitan Cardinal Pietro Capuano. They richly represent the artistic movement prevailing in Southern Italy. From Amalfi, we have created two exciting land adventures for you. One to Scenic Ravello and the other to Fascinating Pompeii. You may also choose to play from the yacht’s marina (Permission and conditions pending) or go on a very scenic hike with one of the officers.

Day 4: Taormina (Etna) Sicily, Italy

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
SeaDream yachts anchor in the bay of Giardini Naxos and offer fantastic views of recently awarded UNESCO Natural Site of Mt. Etna (2013) as well as Taormina perched on the cliffside. Shuttle bus service has been arranged to transport guests from Giardini Naxos to the entrance gate of Taormina town. For the SeaDream active guests, office led hikes and bike rides could also transport you to Taormina town or continue up to Castelmola which provides amazing views of the surrounding areas. Perhaps the “must do” land adventure here would be to ascend Mt. Etna with your fellow SeaDreamers. Other options include an incredible and authentic feast at the Godfather Villa. This “SeaDream Exclusive” Land Adventure requires a high minimum to operate, but it’s worth every penny! As you are anchored and if conditions allow, water sports will be offered both in the morning and in the afternoon. Molto Bene!

Day 5: Santa Maria di Leuca, Italy

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Located on the southernmost tip of the Salento peninsula, the “heel” of Italy’s “boot,” Santa Maria di Leuca is home to an iconic lighthouse and Sanctuary of Leuca, a must-see for art enthusiasts. Built from the ruins of an ancient pagan temple, the Sanctuary has valuable works of art on display, including the 1625 Madonna with Child by Andrea Cunavi and the Sacred Family canvas donated by the Boroness Maria Serafini-Sauli in the 18th century. Perfect for exploring and hiking, the region is known for its impressive geological formations such as dozens of underwater caves and a seaside ravine with picturesque views of Fjord del Ciolo.

Day 6: Kotor, Montenegro

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Kotor is a coastal town in Montenegro. The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by an impressive city wall built by the Republic of Venice and the Venetian influence remains dominant among the architectural influences. In 1979 the Bay of Kotor, City of Kotor and the surrounding territory have been listed in the UNESCO Heritage as a Cultural Site. SeaDream usually navigates close by the small islands of St. George and Our Lady of the Reef. The Bay of Kotor stretches 28 km and is one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea. It is sometimes called the southern-most fjord in Europe (though it is actually a submerged river canyon called a ria). SeaDream typically docks steps away from the town. SeaDream has arranged a few different Yachting Land Adventures. One of them is a walking discovery and the other shows you the heritage and countryside of Montenegro. For the active guests, there’s incredible biking along the coast as well as a hike up to the fortress. On occasion, SeaDream may dock in the bay and tender directly to the town.

Day 7-8: Dubrovnik, Croatia | Hvar, Croatia

  • Ship
  • 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 2 Dinners
Dubrovnik (Pearl of the Adriatic) is one of the most prominent destinations in the Adriatic Sea. It lies in the region of Dalmatia and was awarded World Unesco Heritage status in 1979. The population is approximately 43,000 and is considered to be among the 10 best medieval walled cities in the world. SeaDream anchors off the walled city as a port of call and tenders directly to the town gate. If you check the land adventures here, you will find that there are many different excursions to consider in this incredible town. Dubrovnik is also an embarkation point on select voyages. On these occasions, the yacht is docked at the cruise terminal.

Depart from Dubrovnik, Croatia in the morning and sail to Hvar, Croatia.

Day 9: Hvar, Croatia | Vis Island, Croatia

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Hvar is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. The island of Hvar is somewhat unusual as it is blessed with a large fertile coastal plain and freshwater springs. Its hillsides are covered in pine forests, with vineyards, olive groves, fruit orchards, and lavender fields in the agricultural areas. The climate is characterized by mild winters and warm summers with many hours of sunshine. Guests have an option to kayak down the coastline on one of the land adventures or take an independent hike up to the fortress to have some incredible views of the picturesque harbor. You also have an option to bike across the island to Starigrad and meet up with the other guests on the land adventure called “The best of Both Worlds".

Depart from Hvar in the afternoon and sail to Vis Island.

Vis Island, this island holds a host of accolades from being the oldest town in Croatia and hosting the oldest regatta in Europe, to featuring some of the most beautiful beaches in the country. With a picturesque coastline, it is easy to see why Vis was selected as the backdrop for the 2018 feature film “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.” The farthest inhabited island off the Croatian mainland, Vis has an interesting cultural heritage after being secluded from foreign visitors up until the late 1980s. This history of isolation has been key in keeping the island pure, making Vis an ideal destination for those seeking authenticity.

Day 10: Sibenik, Croatia

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
The town of Sibenik is situated in one of the most well-protected natural harbors on the Croatian coast. Your SeaDream yacht navigates into the harbor past numerous islands in the archipelago and through a channel that is, in parts, less than 500 feet wide. While Sibenik is less well known than Dubrovnik and Split, it has its own personality and some great things to see and enjoy. Sibenik's St. James Cathedral is one of the marvels of the Dalmatian Coast and is Unesco World Heritage-listed as of November 2000. In the old town, little streets lead to attractive squares where modern shops blend into the fine and stylish architecture of vanished centuries. Nearby is the Krka National Park with its river and numerous waterfalls and cascades. SeaDream Land Adventures offer you an orientation of the city as well as venturing to the Krka National Park & Waterfalls as well as the neighboring town of Zadar and Liquor Tasting.

Day 11: Rovinj, Croatia

  • Ship
  • 1 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner
Rovinj is a popular tourist resort in Croatia situated on the north Adriatic Sea. It is situated on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula and remains as one of the last true fishing ports. SeaDream has arranged some unique land adventure options including; Porec, a Touch of History, Culture & The Family Tradition of Wine Making, and the very popular Searching For Truffles in the Countryside. SeaDream is scheduled to anchor to offer water sports activities from the marina (Permission and conditions pending).

Day 12: Venice, Italy | Disembark

  • 1 Breakfast
Venice has been known as the "Queen of the Adriatic", "City of Water", "City of Masks", "City of Bridges", "The Floating City", and "City of Canals". Luigi Barzini, writing in The New York Times, described it as "undoubtedly the most beautiful city built by man". Venice has also been described by the Times Online as being one of Europe's most romantic cities. Founded in the 5th century, the city stretches across 118 small islands in the marshy Venetian Lagoon along the Adriatic. In 1987 Venice and its Lagoon was inscribed as a UNESCO Heritage site. SeaDream typically docks at the San Basilio pier after navigating by the famous St. Mark’s Square down the grand canal. With its yacht stature, SeaDream vessels are amongst the very few commercial vessels that can navigate this famous waterway.

Disembark the Sea Dream II after breakfast.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
