Day 1: Embark - Split / Hvar

Board the Macao in the morning and settle in to your cabin. Attend a welcome cocktail hour to meet your Cruise Director and the crew as you set sail for Hvar at 1 PM. On the way, enjoy the breeze and watch the landscape as it slowly passes you by. Arrive in Hvar in the afternoon. Known as the sunniest island in Croatia, Hvar is famous for its endless fields of lavender and rosemary. The island features a beautiful coast and lovely historical towns. Upon arrival, join your local guide on a walk around the ancient streets of Hvar before attending a short lavender presentation.

NOTE: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbor, during peak season in July and August, port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad. In this case, transfer by bus will be organized to and from Hvar.

Day 2: Hvar / Korcula

After breakfast, set sail to Vela Luka on the island of Korcula. Along the way, drop anchor and hop into your swimsuit for a dip in the crystal-blue Adriatic Sea. After the swimming break, continue sailing towards Korcula. After lunch, join a guided coach tour of the island for a first-hand perspective of the its hinterland, vineyards, olive orchards, and hilly landscape. Visit the Zlokic Olive Oil factory and taste the premium extra-virgin cold-pressed olive oils of the region. After dinner on board the ship, expect an evening full of Dalmatian vibe as the sun sets over Vela Luka.

Day 3: Korcula / Mljet

In the morning, sail for the island of Mljet, known for its striking beauty and two salty turquoise lakes encircled by dense forest. Enjoy some free time to explore Mljet's National Park individually.

Day 4: Mljet / Dubrovnik

Sail for Dubrovnik early in the morning. Upon arrival, a shuttle bus will take you to the Old Town gate where you can join a guided tour of Dubrovnik. A local expert is available to show you around this enchanting ancient town which is protected by 13th century fortifications. After the tour, explore Dubrovnik on your own.

Day 5: Dubrovnik / Korcula

Enjoy your breakfast on board as the ship sails back to the island of Korcula. Visit the town of the same name. The medieval core of Korcula is arranged like a fishbone on a small peninsula. From here enjoy fantastic views of the sea. After docking at Korcula harbor, join a local guide for a walk around the town. Hear about its long history, ingenious building strategies, and the peculiar layout of its structures.

Day 6: Korcula / Brac

After breakfast, set sail towards the island of Brac. Pass through the scenic Peljesac channel and drop anchor along the way in a secluded bay for a refreshing swim. Arrive in Pucisca on the island of Brac, an idyllic town surrounded by stone quarries that yield some of the whitest and highest quality limestone in the world. Attend a short tour of the local stonemasonry school, and learn about the famous Brac limestone. Later in the evening, pick your spot along the seaside to enjoy the island's relaxed atmosphere with a glass of wine.

Day 7: Brac / Split

Leave Brac in the morning and sail across the channel back to the mainland. The first destination of the day is Omis, a town known for two things: stunning vistas of the River Cetina canyon, and its pirates. Join a short walking tour to hear the story of this small town which was built below steep mountains at the mouth of River Cetina. After the tour, board a small boat and sail the river canyon, a protected nature area. Travel upriver to Radmans, a recently restored historical mill site. Explore the area before your return to Omis. In the afternoon, sail towards Split. Upon arrival, tour the Old Town and visit the monumental Diocletian Palace which was built over 1700 years ago. Because of its historical and architectural importance, Old Town is on UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage.

Day 8: Split / Disembark

Enjoy one last breakfast on the M/S Macao before disembarking in the morning.
