Day 1 Amsterdam | Embark

Board the MS La Boheme in Amsterdam around 6.00pm. Settle comfortably in your cabin and join a welcome drink at the lounge, while meeting the crew. Enjoy dinner on board followed by a guided tour of the city on board a river boat.

Day 2 Amsterdam

Today join a guided tour to the historic heart of Amsterdam. In the afternoon, visit the Keukenhof gardens (open from mid-March until mid-May - The others months, visit Volendam and the Zaanse Schans). Enjoy a free evening or be transfered (optional, pay on board) to the city center for a walk in the Red Light District. During the night sail to Nijmegen. 

Day 3 Nijmegen | Krefeld

Today enjoy some free time in Nijmegen or join a visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum. This museum is home to the art works of famous painters like Van Gogh and Picasso, and also home of several modern sculptures. In the afternoon, cruise to Krefeld.

Day 4 Cologne | Königswinter

Spend the morning cruising to Cologne. In the afternoon, discover the old town with your accompanist. Continue crusing to Königswinter and enjoy a free evening in the city.

Day 5 Königswinter | Rüdesheim

This morning sail along the romantic Rhine Valley. Passing through the legendary Lorelei rock and charming castles. Arrive in Rüdesheim and have some free time or join an excursion to Rüdesheim. Then, enjoy a free evening in the lively Drosselgasse, world famous for its open-air restaurants and beer taverns. 

Day 6 Mannheim | Heidelberg

Today sail to Mannheim. In the afternoon, take part on an coach excursion to Heidelberg, symbol of German Romanticism. Tonight enjoy an onboard Gala evening on board, as you cruise to Strasbourg.

Day 7 Strasbourg

Enjoy breakfast on board before arriving in Strasbourg. Then set off for a panoramic tour and guided visit of the city. Lunch at a local restaurant and enjoy free exploration time. Get back on the ship and delight yourself with a dinner on board, while you sail to Mainz.

Day 8 Mainz | Frankfurt

Today arrive in Mainz, in the past this city was the residence of bishops who had a major role in the history of the Saint-Empire. Discover the city with your accompanist. In the afternoon, cruise to Frankfurt for a guided tour of the city. Frankfurt is a major hub of business, but the birthplace of Goethe is not only a city of money. 

Day 9 Miltenberg | Wertheim

Arrive in Miltenberg in the early morning. Explore this peaceful town with your accompanist. In this beautiful city the streets with half-timbered houses are still protected by ramparts and medieval doors. In the afternoon cruise to Wertheim, a town situated in the confluence of the Tauber and the Main. Once you have arrived go ashore and discover Wertheim on your own.

Day 10 Wurzburg | Kitzingen

Today cruise towards Karlstad and enjoy an optional visit to Würzburg. Situated on the right bank of the Main, this city is famous for its baroque palace, the former residence of the bishop princes. Return on board in Wurzburg and cruise to Kitzingen. This evening enjoy entertainment on board.

Day 11 Rothenburg | Bamberg

This morning cruise to Volkach and join a guided tour of Rothenburg, a magnificent walled town set up high on the hills over the river, a required stage of the Romantic Road. Return on board in Schweinfuhrt and cruise to Bamberg. 

Day 12 Nuremberg | Muhlhausen

Sail on the Rhine-Main-Danube canal, which was opened on September 25, 1992, 70 years to build this 171 km long canal. Arrive to Nuremberg and take part on a guided visit of the city. Nuremberg is a former free imperial city, its old town gathers Gothic buildings, timbered houses and bourgeois homes. Return on board and cruise to Muhlhausen. This night the entertainment is provided by the ship's crew. 

Day 13 Regensburg

Today cruise to Kelheim and join an excursion to Regensburg. This city has a decisive importance in the fields of culture and medieval art. Return on board in Regensburg.

Day 14 Passau

Arrive in Passau and discover the town with your accompanist. Its baroque buildings and narrow romantic streets are unforgettable. Return on board and cruise through the attractive region of Engelhartszell. Get back on the ship for an evening of entertainment on board.

Day 15 Melk | Vienna

This morning arrive in Melk and join an excursion to the Benedictine Abbey, the symbol of Austrian baroque at its finest. Return on board and sail to Durnstein for a visit to this picturesque village. Close to the Danube River, Durnstein offers a vision of a lovely medieval town. Return on board and cruise to Vienna, a Gallo-roman town, city of art and history. Tonight enjoy a tour of the illuminated sights of Vienna. 

Day 16 Vienna | Esztergom

This morning enjoy a guided tour of Schönbrunn Palace and a part of Vienna. In the city center, the Schönbrunn Palace offers an immersion in the heart of Austrian history. Return on board for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to discover this magnificent city on your own. Return on board and sail to Esztergom, passing through Bratislava. As your cruise to Esztergom, have fun in the Gala dinner and dancing evening.

Day 17 Esztergom | Budapest

For navigational reasons and passenger safety, the company and the captain reserve the right to modify the cruise itinerary if necessary.
(1) On Mondays the visit to the Kröller-Müller Museum is replaced with an optional visit of the Dutch open air museum of Arnhem.
(2) Depending on piers availabilities, the stopover at Krefeld can be replaced with a stopover at Duisbourg.
