Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Board the MS La Belle de Cadix at 5:00 PM and settle into your cabin. Attend a welcome cocktail party to introduce yourself to the crew before enjoying dinner.
Join the guided tour on foot of Seville this morning. Your first stop is at the Plaza de Espana, a majestic crescent-shaped complex arranged around a central square. Continue on to the attractive district of Santa Cruz, passing in front of the typical flowered patios found in the city. Formally the Jewish quarter, it remains part of the historical center of the city and contains many renowned monuments. You'll then head towards the Alcazar, the royal palace built for the Christian king Peter of Castile. The extensive and fascinating buildings and grounds are regarded as one of the most outstanding examples of Mudéjar architecture found on the Iberian Peninsula.
This afternoon, prepare yourself for a blast at the Seville Fair. This is a unique occasion to discover and participate in traditional Andalusian festivities. Many wonders and excitements await you at the "Real de la Feria," where the fair takes place, including tapas, music, and dancing. Join for a glass of Rebujito and some local specialties.
After you return on board, you'll have dinner and enjoy an evening of entertainment.
This morning, you will tour the Palacio de las Dueñas. Built between the 15th and 16th centuries, Las Dueñas was named after the former monastery of Santa María de las Dueñas. It has several buildings, courtyards, and gardens. Tour the stables, and the lemon tree courtyard, the main courtyard, and the Gypsy Hall, which was once the center of social life in the palace.
After the tour, return on board the ship. Take advantage of some free time this afternoon to explore Seville and the fair at your own rhythm. This evening, your ship will begin to cruise towards Cádiz.
Join the guided tour on foot of Cádiz this morning. Built on a rock and surrounded on all sides by the sea, this fortified city is connected to the mainland only by a narrow strip of sand. The tour will begin in the old town, which gives you a good idea of the city's history through its traditional neighborhoods, superb Baroque churches, and elegant manorial homes painted in delicate pastel colors and adorned with wrought iron balconies. As you return to the ship, you will pass through the Plaza de España and the Plaza de las Flores.
The ship cruises to El Puerto de Santa Maria.
In the afternoon, visit Jerez and a “ganadería”. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about this iconic symbol in Spanish culture. You’ll begin with a panoramic tour by coach of the main city sites including the cathedral, the bell tower, and the Alcazar of Jerez de la Frontera. Next stop is the ″ganaderia,″ where bull raising is an art waiting to be discovered. Tonight’s dinner will have a Spanish flair.
Enjoy a tasting of some local specialties in El Puerto de Santa Maria this morning. Leave on foot with the host/hostess for the Osborne Bodega. One of the oldest wineries in the region, Osborne began producing its Sherry Solera in 1772. Enjoy a tasting of three different wines along with some regional products. After you return on board, begin to cruise to Isla Minima.
This afternoon, set off for a visit to a traditional hacienda. You’ll discover the hacienda’s beautiful architecture with its impressive Andalusian patio and watch a horse show in its private arena.
After you return on board, you'll begin to cruise to Seville.
Spend the day on an excursion to Grenada. Leave by coach for a full-day tour of Grenada. Your first stop is a true wonder of Moorish art: the Alhambra, whose stunning palaces and captivating gardens are framed by the surrounding mountains. Continue on to the Palacio de Generalife, the former summer palace of the Nasrid rulers. You'll have lunch in a local restaurant. Spend some free time in the city by yourself this afternoon, strolling through the Albaicin District surrounded by the imposing Sierra Nevada landscapes. Return to the ship by coach. Tonight's entertainment is a flamenco show.
Spend the day on an excursion to Córdoba. Leave Seville by coach for Córdoba. Córdoba began its prosperous era in the 18th century when it was conquered by the Moors. During this time, over 300 mosques and countless palaces were built. The magnificent Mezquita, a symbol of worldly and sophisticated Islamic culture, reigns over the town and pulls thousands of tourists into its arched interior every day. The streets of the Jewish Quarter branch out from the great mosque and emerge onto peaceful plazas. The ruins of Medinat al-Zahra, to the west of town, stir the imagination with its mystery and grandeur. Have your lunch in a local restaurant. You’re free to do as you please in the afternoon. After the tour, you will return on board in Seville. Tonight is your festive gala evening.

The response from Adventure Life to my first inquiry was prompt and promising. I worked with Jamie Broeckel, Trip Planner, via text, email, and phone calls- always extremely responsive and thorough with information and explaining the process to arrange a private tour for me to Malaysia Borneo. Within about week, the booking was complete and I made decisions because of Jamie's great customer service , friendly manner, and overall competence on behalf of the company's travel expertise. Now I have an itinerary, additional Trip Planner Assistants, several links for vital information for traveling to Maylasia, etc. Still many details for Sept. trip, but now the heavy lifting is done and I can enjoy the rest of the anticipation and research!! Thanks Jamie- you are amazing!!!!

The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
