The Hide is one of the top-rated Safari Tented Camps in Hwange National Park. Holding up to 20 guests, the tents all overlook a very popular waterhole which attracts a variety fo wildlife including elephant and hippo. Tents offer en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities. Up to four game activities are offered to guests each day.
The Private Hide is a newly built mini-safari camp on the same site which hosts up to 6 guests in two deluxe tents. A private dining room, lounge, and plunge pool make this a private escape for larger groups or families.
Tom's Little Hide accommodates up to 6 adults in three safari rooms. A private dining room, lounge, and plunge pool add some privacy and children of any age are welcome.
Guided Walks - Morning and afternoon guided walks are available everyday (age 16 and older only). As The Hide is located on a private concession within Hwange National Park borders, it is able to offer walks which might otherwise not be permitted in other parts of the park.
Day and Night Game Drives - Morning and afternoon game drives by vehicle take place each day, allowing guests to explore further from camp into Hwange. Night drives are also offered with spotlight for those who want to get a taste of wildlife after the sun goes down.
Dove's Nest Treehouse - This little secret offers guests the chance to truly spend the night in a treehouse! The romantic 'getaway' is available for guests to use for a night out in a simple treehouse overlooking the pan. Accessible by wooden stair with a closeable door, the house also offers warm shower and a comfortable bed.
Underground Hide and Wine Cellar - Access the underground hide from the main lodge when you spot wildlife approaching the hole. Simply descend into a tunnel and walk to the Blind windows and watch the action. Under here as well you can opt to select wine for dinner from the recently added cellar.
Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

Adventure Life has been an extraordinary travel resource for us over the years and today was no exception. Our River Cruise booking was handled by Jess (who has been our personal trip planner for several years) the same day as our inquiry. Suggestions were given for cabin choice and pre-trip options (that were not shown on the cruise line's website) like airport transfers and prepaid gratuities. Trip insurance recommendations followed and we were assigned a travel co-ordinator till the end of the tour. All we have to do is show up! Great service from friendly folks.

Our travel was flawless! The rider pickup (airport, hotel, ship) was seamless. Jane's recommendation for Emerald Cruise Sakara was everything I wanted but the experience was soooo much more. Adventure Life took care of each and every detail and this was the easiest of all my travels.
