About the Corinthian II (CW)

The elegant 114-guest Corinthian II has established itself as one of the finest expedition cruise ships in Antarctica. With an ice-strengthened hull, a fleet of Zodiac inflatable craft for forays ashore and a set of stabilizers for smooth sailing, this high-quality expedition cruise ship can explore the Antarctic Peninsula and the Antarctic islands in comfort and safety. And 360° views of the panorama of ever-changing light, beautifully sculpted ice forms and rich wildlife are possible thanks to expansive deck space, including a promenade deck which completely encircles the entire ship, allowing for unobstructed viewing from all angles. For guests returning from shore landings, Corinthian II is a welcoming home in this remote part of the Earth.

Gracious Living in Spacious Suites
Accommodating a small number of guests (114) all staterooms aboard the ship are suites, the smallest of which measures 215 square feet. Suites are outside-facing, affording views of the spectacular Antarctic scenery, and are appointed in rich wood tones; beds can be configured as two single beds or one king-size bed. Suites also feature a sitting area, TV, DVD/CD player, mini-refrigerator, safe and marble-appointed bathroom with fine toiletries. The Penthouse and Veranda suites additionally offer a private balcony.

Fine Dining, Inviting Facilities, Attractive Amenities
Excellent cuisine is created by our ship’s European chefs and served in the elegant dining room. Each meal is served at a single, unassigned seating, and varied seating arrangements ensure comfort for all. Weather permitting, meals are also served al fresco in the outdoor café. Our widely praised service equals that of the finest restaurant. Throughout your voyage, you will be able to relax in the spacious and elegant public areas. Enjoy refreshments, afternoon tea and all-day coffee in The Club, a comfortable space for relaxation with panoramic windows. Before or after dinner, sit back with a cocktail while the ship’s pianist plays in the background. Additionally, Corinthian II features a library, beauty salon, exercise area, elevator serving all decks, a sun deck with Jacuzzi, a well-equipped infirmary supervised by a doctor and retractable fin stabilizers for smooth sailing. Corinthian II is operated and serviced by 70 seasoned European crew and meets the latest international safety rules, including those of the U.S. Coast Guard.
