The Hebridean Sky ranks among the best small ships exploring the global waterways. Of the 59 luxurious suites onboard, they all have ample en-suite facilities and 14 even feature balconies. A 2016 renovation has made this one of the most stylish vessels cruising the polar region as well, in company with its sister ships, the MS Island Sky and MS Caledonian Sky.
Hebridean Sky offers an exclusive and stylish base for adventurous exploration in Antarctica. Suites in eight different categories of accommodation are spacious, with premium appointments throughout. Each Suite features a sitting area, a private bathroom, a picture window, and two twin beds that, on request, can be joined to form a queen-size bed. A number of Suites include private balconies. Triple cabins feature a sofa bed suitable for individuals who are no more than 1.70 m (5' 6") tall.
The common areas that guests can enjoy aboard the Hebridean Sky include a library, presentation lounge, an exercise room, and a dining room. You'll also be delighted by the relaxing atmosphere of the lounge or the captivating sights to behold on the wraparound deck. The elevators and medical clinic are available as well. The ship has a feet of 10 Zodiac boats.
Its stately rooms and elegant fittings are underscored by an attentive crew who will ensure that your experience is second to none. The cruise director and expedition leaders are in charge of your itinerary, but unlike the mega cruiseliners that focus on activities and entertainment, the focus of your experience is the stunning natural environment of your destination.
You won't have to worry about a formal dress code or deck games; rather, enjoy the relaxing and comfortable accommodations onboard after a full day of exploration. Guest speakers and expert naturalists offer briefings in the A/V lounge for anyone who wants to learn more about the fascinating regions you will be exploring.
