Day 1 Istanbul, Turkey

Arrive a few days early to explore the rich culture and history of your embarkation city, Istanbul. Embark your luxurious cruise ship, Le Levant this afternoon.

Day 2 Dikili, Turkey

A small and peaceful port on the shores of the Aegean, Dikili has retained its picturesque charm. From here we head out to explore Pergamum, one of Turkey’s finest archaeological sites, not just because of the many and varied ruins but also for its splendid hilltop location. At one time a serious rival to Alexandria and Rome, Pergamum offers visitors the rich heritage of its architecture in an intimate setting.

Day 3 Delos & Mykonos, Greece

Birthplace of the twins Artemis and Apollo, Delos is one of the most importantmythological, historical and archaeological sites in Greece. Legend has it that becausethe island was Apollo’s birthplace it became an important sanctuary visited by pilgrims.

Queen of the Cyclades with its white mills, labyrinth of whitewashed alleyways and quaint little port where boats bob lazily at the foot of the terraces, Mykonos never fails to inspire. One of the most romantic spots is the colourful “Little Venice” district where the houses are built right on the sea giving it a special ambiance. Let yourself be tempted by the numerous taverns which line its seafront opposite the old port.

Day 4 Crossing the Corinth Canal / Itea, Greece

A grandiose impressive work of art linking the ionian and Aegean seas, the Corinth Canal is the fruit of a dream dating back to ancient times. The emperor Nero had at one time envisaged its creation.

From Itea you will enter the immaculately preserved sacred site of Delphi, the white ruins of Apollo’s famous sanctuary rising up out of the pines. the spectacular crossing of the Corinth Canal will leave you with a very special memory, a majestic impression.

Day 5 Parga, Greece

In the heart of a sheltered cove on the north western shores of Greece in the Epirus province, Parga was Venetian from the 15th to the end of the 18th century. During that period it belonged to Ali Pacha, a high official of Soliman the Magnificent. Its imposing Venetian citadel built on a steep rocky promontory dominates the town, the port and the sweet smelling pines which surround it. Today it is a lovely seaside resort.

Day 6 Dubrovnik, Croatia

Known throughout the world as the Pearl of the Adriatic, the walled city of Dubrovnik built on a rock has preserved its Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque heritage. Palaces, monuments and white stone churches take you on a journey through the various periods and are in perfect harmony. Long considered as a rival to Venice, traces of its illustrious past are to be found throughout the city which is a UNESCO World Heritage sit

Day 7 Hvar & Korcula, Croatia

Port details peA mild sunny climate has earned Hvar the epithet “Croatia’s Madeira”. Occupied since prehistoric times, it is one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic. Be prepared to be intoxicated by the smell of lavender upon your arrival. The old town cradled in the bay boasts many remarkable monuments such as the cathedral, a former arsenal and noble palaces, all bearing witness to a rich history influenced by Gothic and Renaissance art.

You will be charmed by the harmony which emerges from the old town of Korcula: the medieval architecture of white stone towers offers a stunning contrast to the orange-red roofs of the houses set against a limpid blue sea. For those who love old stonework, the alleyways, squares and palaces are a pleasure to behold.

Day 8 Sibenik, Croatia
