Day 1 Fort de France, Martinique

Embarking in Fort de France on board Le Levant in the evening.

Day 2 St Georges, Grenada

Capital of Grenada, St. George lies at the end of a beautiful bay. A particularly picturesque little town wrapped round the port, St George has retained the red roofed pastel-colored architecture of the colonial era. Surrounded by untamed tropical forests, pristine beaches and numerous waterfalls, this is a truly enchanting destination.

Days 3-5 Orenoco, Venezuela

A giant labyrinth, the Orinoco Delta one of the world’s largest rivers is an extraordinary universe of vegetation floating on water in the heart of Warao Indian territory. You will explore the primal forest and mangrove swamps in a zodiac, with a nature guide to help you spot the many nocturnal and diurnal species that live side by side in this challenging but exuberant environment. During calls to Cana Curiapo and El Arroyo you will have a chance together with your guide to observe the many insects, reptiles, mammals and birds along the secluded banks of the river.

The island offers numerous activities: you can take an organized tour of this colorful town or explore it at your own pace, or venture a little further south to the Caroni Swamp where snowy egrets, white-necked herons and the magnificent scarlet ibis nest.

Day 7 Tobago Cays, Grenadines

A string of white sandy islands bathed by a turquoise sea, the Tobago Cays are one of the Grenadines little treasures.
