Day 1 Abu Dhabi, UAE / Embark

Embarkation this afternoon. Enjoy a welcome drink and meet your fellow passengers prior to the customary safety drill. Short lecture on Khasab and the Musandam Peninsula. Overnight at Sea.

Day 2 Khasab

Mid day arrival at Khasab-Musandam Peninsula. Lunch on board. Afternoon optional tour of Khasab with visit to Khasab fort and museum or other optional mountain 4 wheel drive tour again with Khasab fort and museum visit. Both tours end with a memorable Omani night at outside location. Overnight in Khasab.

Day 3 Khasab

Optional full day excursion with a traditional Omani dhow sailing into a Musandam peninsula fjord. You will most certainly have the company of dolphins before reaching Telegraph and Seebi Islands for a swim stop, fishing and snorkeling. Refreshments and lunch on board. Late afternoon return to Khasab. Overnight in Khasab.

Day 4 Musandan Peninsula

Early morning sailing from Khasab along the West Coast of Musandam, passing by Kumjar and then along the East Coast fjords of Musandam. Swim stop on the way before lunch on board. Short lecture about Omani history and next day’s places of interest, Sohar and Nakhal. Overnight at sea to Sohar.

Day 5 Sohar / Sawadi Sands

Early morning arrival in Sohar. Disembarkation for an optional full day excursion. After a short visit of the quaint and peaceful city center, drive by small buses to Nakhal and its well preserved fortress and later on to Ain Towarath hot springs. Rejoin the ship in Sawadi Sands Islands late afternoon. (Guests not taking the full day excursion will remain on board). Overnight at anchor in Sawadi Sands.

Day 6 En route to Muscat

Early morning snorkeling and swimming at nearby island followed by a BBQ lunch. Early afternoon sailing for Muscat. Overnight at Muscat.

Day 7 Muscat / Nizwa

Leave Muscat by road for an optional full day excursion to city of Fanja before reaching Nizwa, once the capital of Oman and Misfar, a very old village where your guide will introduce you to the Falaj, the typical Omani irrigation system and to the date’s cultivation. The alternative for day 7 is an optional 1/2 day tour of Muscat. Overnight in Muscat.

Day 8 Muscat, Oman/ Disembark

Disembark this morning for your continued journey home.
