Ship Type: Luxury Expedition Ship

The Silver Discover is Silversea's third expedition ship and is expertly engineered to explore the most isolated archipelagos of the Pacific. The ship's small size and shallow draft allows close-up access to rugged coasts well beyond the reach of ordinary vessels. Newly refurbished, the ship is an oasis of comfort and helps guests maximize their experience.

Spacious decks and panoramic public rooms mean the drama of the unexpected is never far from view. A fleet of Zodiacs allows exploration from the water or remote landings. Since many of the expeditions sail to some of the world's most pristine coral reef systems, there is also a glass-bottom boat for underwater viewing, along with a full complement of snorkeling equipment and a dive program for advanced divers.

The ship stops at nothing to provide exceptional service. An ocean-view suite, in-suite bar and the head-to-toe pampering of a butler; elegant lounges and open bar where fellow travelers gather to swap tales about their day's adventures; and cuisine which meets Silversea's standards of culinary excellence are all available. Imaginative menus in the restaurant feature both regional offerings and dishes inspired by Relais & Chateaux.

Additional amenities on board include a sun-catching pool deck, an internet cafe, a fitness center, and a beauty and massage center — particularly alluring after an adventurous day ashore.

Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!
