Our Awesome Argentina trip (Buenos Aires to Ushuaia to El Calafate) was truly awesome. World class capital, amazing scenery & penguins at the end of the world, a once in a lifetime glacier walk. Great guides, interesting people, wonderful food.

It’s February school vacation week, and most of our friends have been indulging in pedicures and manicures for trips to the Caribbean and Florida. Though we are not glamorous, we are happy, happy, happy because we are going to tour Patagonia today.

Patagonia Trip: Truly the trip of a lifetime - rugged mountain ranges, beautiful river valleys, impressive glacial basins, and charming mountain towns - Patagonia is my kind of place!

South America Trip: We spent about a week in Buenos Aires, touring the barrios and sights. We then embarked on the Patagonia Panorama 14d Adventure and finished it off with a couple of days in Santiago Chile.

This was our first trip with Adventure Life. I think it won’t be the last. We wanted to go to Cape Horn, to visit the famous Torres del Paine park of Patagonia, and the Argentine glaciers; a lot! Adventure Life let us do it all within 2 weeks.

We travelled as far south as Antarctica, where complete solitude was discovered.\"El Mitad del Mundo\" was the most northernly stop. Hiked the \"W\" circuit of Torres del Paine and the Inca Trail. Awed by Punta del Diablo, Salar de Uyu

At 65 degrees south latitude, we reached our furthest point south and landed on the actual continent of Antarctica. Now we were actually on the continental land mass.

We did \"Awesome Argentina\" and experienced an invigorating mix of outdoor trekking/glacier hiking combined with an active tour of fascinating Buenos Aires. The guides were super great, and we found many interesting sights on our own as well.

With help from our friends at Adventure Life we experienced much of Argentina. From the restaurants and cafes of Buenos Aires to the natural beauty of Patagonia, the Perito Moreno glacier and the Iguazu Falls we fell in love with the country.

Antarctica, Ushuaia, Patagonia, Buenos Aires, Estoncia, Rio - all fabulous!

We wanted to see Patagonia, but there was so much more to this trip than that
