Cariblue is a small bed-and-breakfast style resort on the white-sand beaches of Playa Cocles. It consists of 16 small hardwood bungalows, each with space for two to six people, are nestled in tropical gardens and surrounded by pristine beaches and jungles. Each bungalow has its own private bathroom with hot water, as well as mosaic decorations, ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and inviting porches with hammocks. A house is also available, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a furnished kitchen.

A traditional palm-roofed "rancho" style restaurant offers all-day service, including a free Costa Rican and American breakfast buffet, a mid-day snack bar and lunch service, and evening dinner and bar. The resort's international chef prepares specialty gourmet dinners and exquisit tropical cocktails. Satellite TV, board games, magazines, and books are provided for your enjoyment.

The resort also offers security deposit boxes, bicycle rentals, telephone and fax service, taxi service to and from the hotel, and laundry service. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the over 100 bird species observable around the resort. Resort activities include horseback riding and snorkeling. Explore nearby nature reserves and national parks, or take a trip with a local fisherman and learn the traditional way of fishing in the Caribbean.
