Peter and Peggy's Cachiccata trek and Machu Picchu.

I went on this adventure with my friend Diane. We are 55 years old and have know each other since university.This was a fabulous trip that I will never forget. I hope some day you'll be able to travel the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu also!

Taste of Argentina Tour + El Calafate - During the week we spent together Guadalupe was the quintessential tour guide, showing me the lovely towns of Salta, Cachi and Cafayate. She was a wealth of information, well-read, and tons of fun. Amazingly, it had turned out to be a private tour because no one else had signed up and to top it off, our personable and charming driver, Kiko, turned out to be a real gem.

The Greenberg family decided to give back to the area they were visiting in Peru. They participated in a home restoration Volunteer Service Project in Cachicatta community. They continued their tour on the Salcantay Trek where they ended on the Inca Trail at Machu Picchu ruins.

Simon and I took the Cachiccata Trek and it was amazing! We loved everything about this trip: Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, the 3-day trek and Machu Picchu. We fell in love with the mountains, the people and yes, even the llamas!

My twelve year old son picked out our vacation this year. I was originally searching on the Internet for Galapagos Tours and found Adventure Life. There were so many options and amazing tours throughout South America, I thought he woudl never decide!
