As an adventuresome couple Peru proved to be the perfect home away from home to celebrate our new life together. Living in Colorado drew us to the magnificent Andes and it proved to be a perfect fit for our love of the outdoors. We spent almost every moment of our visit enjoying the mountains in a variety of ways. Traveling came by way of plane, train, and automobile plus hiking, biking, and rafting. It's no wonder so many people have found this extraordinary journey on their bucket list.

Michael and I both loved many aspects of the Manco Multisport tour but also love cuisine and cooking, so Kassi and Ashley helped us plan a custom tour including our favorite aspects of both the Manco Multisport and the Cuisine Tours that are offered. A fabulous itinerary was now planned - all we needed to do was make sure that we were in shape to handle the Multisport portion of the trip and that we had all the gear we needed.

We toured around Peru from Cusco to Machu Picchu to Lake Titicaca and saw the rich culture and natural beauty of the country and its people. Our Manco Multisport Peru tour included rafting the Urubamba river, mountain biking Malaga Pass, hiking through the Pacamayo Valley, and a homestay on Lake Titicaca. An all around adventurous and packed Peru tour!

Our Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca Adventure: Nothing prepares you for Machu Picchu, not pictures, descriptions, or words. Going to Machu Picchu has been a dream of mine for many years. Although I'd read about the amazing accomplishments, the actual trip, with a fantastic guide whose name is Marco, brought this journey to life and gave it its due. This is a magnificent country, with vistas that defy imagination.
