During the Summer of 2009 I promised my grandson that the following summer, after his high school graduation, I\'d take him anywhere in the world as long as he was willing to travel with me. He chose the Galapagos Archipelago.

Following in Darwin\'s footsteps, I will be going to Ecuador, starting in Quito and ending in the Galapagos Islands. I have my backpack, my water shoes, guide to Ecuador and of course, my camera. Can\'t leave home without it. Buen viaje and vamos!

Galapagos Adventure: Memories of my amazing vacation! After being on over 22 cruises on big ships, I was looking for a different experience. I think Adventure Life did a outstanding job with all the arrangements, informative guides and staff before, during and after our Galapagos cruise on the Millennium.

What a trip! I\'ll let the pictures speak for themselves - there\'s probably no need for descriptions, but I\'ll give it a shot. Can\'t wait to go back to see some of the other islands that we weren\'t able to visit this time.

Jaw dropping flora and fauna. Spectacular guides with a wealth of knowledge. Amazing photography opportunities. Quite possibly the best vacation I have taken thus far. I highly recommend extending your stay on the mainland to experience the culture too.

Each day I found myself amazed, excited, inspired, humbled, filled with a sense of wonder, or all of these! A fantastic vacation to Old City Quito, Sacha Lodge in the Amazon, Otovalo area, and the Galápagos onboard the Millenium.

How do you sum up a trip to the Galapagos? A birders paradise? A zoo without cages? Neither of the previous statements do Darwins Islands any justice. The Flamingo I, our vessel for the week, took us on an expedition to see and experience as much of the Galapagos as we possible could.

An absolutely amazing trip. The reason for the trip was to visit our daughter who was studing in Quito for a semester. We can\'t wait to go back to the Galapagos Islands. Adventure Life, great job booking everything, no problems anywhere. Beautiful place

A group of students from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY were lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel to Ecuador and to the Galapagos Islands. This is just one student\'s journal from the adventure..
