These photos document my journey and experiences in Peru, through it\'s people, culture, and extraordinary history.

My philosophy has always been that life is too short to do things you don’t enjoy, and too short to be missing out on doing things you do want to do. That is why I built my business in the way I did – so that it would free me up to do what I want to do. Our Brazil and Peru tours were interesting - but huge. Everytime we went to a new place, it was a full day’s traveling.

My Dream Trip to Machu Picchu: After months of planning and years of dreaming, my grandson, Zed, and I left the Austin airport around noon on Monday, July 12th, for Peru. It was a wonderful trip with no disappointments. Now, where am I going next?

From the highs of Cusco to the depths of the jungle, this trip was one of the best of my entire life.

The Greenberg family decided to give back to the area they were visiting in Peru. They participated in a home restoration Volunteer Service Project in Cachicatta community. They continued their tour on the Salcantay Trek where they ended on the Inca Trail at Machu Picchu ruins.

My friend Margy and I embarked on our first trip together. We loved Peru and had a great time in the Galapagos!

Magical Peru, we\'ve always wanted to go, but with work restrictions, we could never fit into a group tour. After comparing every tour available by other tour groups we managed to turn this tour into a private trip with Adventure Life. Let the fun begin!

My Bolivia travels included a handful of days in culture-rich La Paz, followed by a trip to the Salt Desert and shores of Lake Titicaca. The landscape was inspiring, but I was overwhelmed by the inviting people of Bolivia who welcomed me into their country. A great trip; already planning on a return visit -- soon!

Adventures in Peru -- birthday cake on the Inca Trail, visiting children at the Mantay Shelter, celebrations in the Cusco plaza, and making Dead Woman\'s Pass at 3 month\'s pregnant? I don\'t think we\'ll ever be able to top this trip.

An account of how we fell in love with Peru, and in the process, also fell back in love with each other.

Peru is a land where the sacred elements of earth, sky, water and fire all come together in a meeting of cosmic proportions. Above all else, it is a country of geographical extremes that is experienced richly as one travels through the diverse regions.

In summary, this was a month well spent. We cannot praise highly enough Adventure life for their assistance in putting all this together.

This was our first real international trip, and it changed our lives. We explored the Southern coastal region, Lake Titicaca, and the Cusco area, and made life-long friends with wonderful guides Carlos and Vidal.

Simon and I took the Cachiccata Trek and it was amazing! We loved everything about this trip: Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Ollantaytambo, the 3-day trek and Machu Picchu. We fell in love with the mountains, the people and yes, even the llamas!

One of our favorite trips. I had heard of Macchu Picchu since high school Spanish class and finally got to see it in person. It was worth the wait!
