The Walkabout Lodge is located in the town of Nhulunbuy on the Gove Peninsula, with exceptional beach frontage where the Gulf of Carpentaria meets the Arafura Sea. This unique region is owned by the indigenous Yolηu people and home to abundant native and introduced wildlife and plant life. It is also the cultural home of the Digeridoo (Yidaki). From the comfortable accommodations of the Walkabout Lodge, enjoy access to pristine beaches, crystal clear rivers, tropical bushland, lush wetlands, and some of the best fishing in the world.

As the main population center in the East Arnhem Land region, Nhulunbuy has all the facilities and services of a modern town. Permits are required to visit recreational areas and an alcohol permit system regulates purchase of alcohol in the region.

Standard Queen: 1 Queen Bed, air conditioned & equipped with cable TV, a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and own private bathroom and outdoor patio area.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip.
