The toilets in Belize are generally the western-style flushing toilets. However, it is possible that in the more isolated parts of the country, on day-excursions, the only available bathrooms will be outhouse-style latrines. You should not throw the waste paper into the toilet bowl, but rather in the waste basket next to it to prevent clogs.
