Fly into Belize City where you are met at the airport and transferred to your rainforest lodge home for the next 4 nights. During your stay at the secluded Lamanai Outpost Lodge, embark on exciting jungle adventures. Situated on the banks of a 28-mile-long spring-fed lagoon amid the remnants of a major Maya city, the lodge is surrounded by an incredible variety of habitats that facilitate nature-based activities departing right from your cabana's doorstep.
The nearest full-service lodge or hotel is over 70 miles away and the number of cabanas at Lamanai Outpost are limited, so it is almost guaranteed that it is just you, your guide, and a few friends that you have made at the Outpost. The average guest embarks on 2-3 soft adventure packages each day, in small groups of about 6 - 10 people. Click here for the activities page.
Lamanai Outpost is one of only a very few of Belize's jungle lodges to have been repeatedly featured on shows such as Wild Things, Discovery, Animal Planet, World Gone Wild, and National Geographic Explorer.
After a leisurely morning fly over the crystal Caribbean waters to Ambergris Caye. Settle into your beach-side hotel and relax into the Belizean spirit.
These days are free for you to arrange activities on your own. Included in your package is a guided afternoon snorkeling trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley for your first introduction to the wonderful world of the Belizean reef. Sea turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks and hundreds of species of fish, coral, and sponges create one of the world's most diverse underwater ecosystems. While here, you can arrange to take a PADI scuba diver Resort Course, explore the island by bicycle, rent a catamaran, or just relax on the beach. Most of your time on Ambergris is on your own, but the island has plenty of services for daytime adventure and nighttime dining.
Day 8: Return Home
Bid farewell to Ambergris Caye and fly back to Belize City in time to connect with your return flight home.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.

The info on the website was laid out very well. I did some comparisons with other tours and found Adventure Life met a lot of what I wanted in an Antarctica trip at the cheapest price. Requested a quote on Claudia contacted me right away. She answered a lot of questions the I had via email even though she offered to discuss via phone call. I’m more of an email person so appreciated how she accommodated that and answered all my questions. And when I was ready to book, she quickly got the ball rolling with getting our spots reserved on the trip my friend and I wanted. Thanks again, Claudia!

(1) great information on the website and throughout all the "materials." (2) Jane Packer is great: knowledgeable, responsive, takes a personal interest and tone, seems to care about the customer as a person not a sale.

For our first trip to Costa Rica, Adventure Life designed a tour that meets the interests, ecological and adventure, of our party; but also takes into account our physical limitations sine we are all septuagenarian. We are looking forward to the trip.
