The rustic Caribou Lodge sits in the Arctic tundra and is isolated from nearby towns and cities. Built in 2002 and featuring only 12 suites with a maximum capacity of 16 people, the lodge is comfortable and provides a unique hands-on Arctic experience.
Anchoring the suites at Caribou Lodge is the central dining room and lounge, which features large panoramic windows, fireplace, a billiard table, and plush leather chairs. The lounge is a place to relax with your fellow trip members and is frequently used to trade stories, look at pictures, or read a good book. The environment is friendly, warm, and dry.
The lodge features 10 aluminum boats with 40HP motors for use on day trips. If you are interested, there is also 5-star fishing available for Northern Pike, Arctic Grayling and Lake Trout.
This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.
