The Best Time to Visit Jost Van Dyke

There really is no bad time to visit Jost Van Dyke but Between December and February is the best time to visit Jost Van Dyke. This is the high season so prices hotel & flight ticket prices will be at their height and it's recommended that you book months in advance. Albeit, the weather remains a comfortable 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit (21-27 degrees Celsius). Additionally, New Years festivities on Jost Van Dyke are especially popular compared to the other British Virgin Islands (and even greater Caribbean).

Between March and August is a good time to travel to Jost Van Dyke. Although hurricane season is officially between June and November, the rain is infrequent and brief for most of this season (although travel insurance is highly recommended). The real downside during this season is the heat and humidity but it's not unbearable. Additionally, the hotel and airfare prices will drop dramatically during these months so you can nab a fantastic deal.

Between September and November the rain becomes more infrequent and prices raise slightly as Jost Van Dyke begins preparing for its upcoming high season. The temperature is warm, but not extremely hot or humid during these months with averages in the 80's (27 degrees Celsius).
