The two hour tour includes a walk through the farm where visitors get a chance to see plantations of bananas, plantains, arracache, macadamia, oranges, sugar cane and of course, coffee. Along the tour, your guide will explain all that is involved with the sugarcane cultivation and the history of the farm. During this portion of the tour, you have an chance to taste the sugar cane and its derivatives. Continuing on, you will next learn about the coffee making process, from the planting and cultivating to the peeling and crushing of the fruit and finally the coffee roasting process. The tour concludes with sample coffee and sugar tastings and a chance to make your own candy. This tour is great for families and coffee aficionados alike.

The trip might have been the absolute best of our lifetime (thus far). We particularly want to commend our guide Peter in the Guilin area-he was so incredibly attentive, energetic, enthusiastic-and absolutely dedicated to ensuring that our meals were 100% vegetarian.
