Passengers: 510
Ship Type: Expedition Cruise Ship

The MS Vesteralen was built in 1983 and carries just 510 passengers. Her sleek exterior and comfortable accommodations make her an ideal choice for cruising the Arctic region.

The Vesteralen lives up to the legacy of her sister ship, after which she was named. One of the smallest ships in her fleet, the Vesteralen is known to bringing her passengers to remote coves and providing a unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Upgraded in both 1988 and 1995, the ship is characterized by her bright and cheerful public areas and lounges. She offers extensive views from her panoramic lounge windows and provides an art collection on board. With her limited passenger capacity and dedicated crew, a voyage on the MS Vesteralen is truly something special.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
