Currently, our team is on the search for a highly motivated individual who will plan and sell worldwide adventure travel packages to clients across the globe. Due to the nature of the job, we give preference to candidates who have traveled extensively or have lived internationally. A candid enthusiasm for global travel and the experiences that result from travel is also essential to this position.

We take pride in the fact that our tours are personalized and customized to our travelers' interests and requests. Because we design tours on an individual basis, our Trip Planners are expected to provide personal attention, exceptional customer service, and build genuine rapport with travelers. While our team thoroughly enjoys the great outdoors, please realize that this is an office position in Missoula, MT, requiring a minimum 40-45 hours per week.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

We looking for a cheerful and motivated individual to assist in the daily operations of our Missoula, MT office. The wide range of duties include assisting with answering phones, filing, client mailings, database entry, and assisting staff in any other necessary tasks throughout the day. In addition to these tasks, the Administrative Assistant will work with our trip planners, operations staff, and administration on various time-sensitive projects including updating our website, researching online and compiling new information for travelers. Excellent organizational and writing skills, multitasking abilities and self-motivation are all key characteristics of a successful Administrative Assistant.

· Consistently cheerful attitude and professional phone presence
· Office experience with a multi-line phone preferred
· Copy editing experience preferred

Adventure Guide - Summer 2016

Adventure Life is looking for cheerful and motivated individuals to lead tours in Montana. The wide range of duties include guiding individuals and groups during their adventure based activities, acting as a day-to-day manager of the travel group, creating safe yet exciting experiences while promoting positive relations with travelers, maintaining the established travel itinerary, providing relevant educational and engaging information, assisting travelers during activities, assembling tents and other necessary equipment/gear, organizing and/or preparing meals, safely driving guests and equipment from one location to another and other necessary tasks throughout the day. The Guide will also need to consistently deliver a high level of customer service and traveler satisfaction and be able to take decisive action to resolve problems as they arise. Excellent leadership and communication skills, multitasking abilities, resourcefulness and a positive attitude are all crucial characteristics of a successful Guide.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience necessary
· Ability to maintain high level of customer service with guests and employees
· Consistently cheerful and positive attitude
· Communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner
· Excellent instructional skills, an educational background/educator experience is preferred
· Ability to work well in teams
· Available to work all days of the week including weekends and holidays. We are looking for people who can commit throughout the summer (through end of August beginning of September)
· Demonstrate a passion for and working knowledge of the outdoors and Western Montana
· Excellent organizational, leadership, and people skills
· Attention to detail while working
· Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
· Ability to follow specific written and verbal instructions without error
· Undergraduate of Associates degree strongly preferred. Some assignments require Master's Degree and teaching experience
· Ability to deal with physical demands of the position
· Certified in basic first aid and CPR
· Additional health and safety training is an asset
· Commercial driver license (CDL) preferred

Salary:
Salary is open and based on experience, skills, and duration of guide assignments. Assignments are typicaly one to two weeks long.

This is a seasonal position for the summer of 2016. Schedule is dependent on need at time of hire.

Operations Coordinator

Adventure Life is looking for a highly motivated individual to coordinate our trips. This is an office position in Missoula, MT that requires excellent organization and communication skills. Each day entails managing several dozen e-mails with overseas outfitters, conversing with clients about upcoming trips, and continual research to stay informed about the destinations. Problem-solving and customer service skills are necessary. Other responsibilities include assisting in the daily routine of making the office run (answering phones, filing, client mailings). Excellent writing skills, multitasking abilities and self-motivation are all key characteristics of a successful Operations Coordinator.
