Adventure Life is looking for a highly motivated individual to plan and ultimately sell our trips to South & Central America. This is an office position in Missoula, Montana, that requires excellent organization and communication skills. Each day entails managing several dozen e-mails with overseas outfitters, conversing with clients to plan trips, and continual research concerning cultural, natural and archaeological destinations in each country. Enthusiasm for travel, combined with excellent people, organizational and writing skills are all key characteristics of a successful Trip Planner. In addition, multitasking abilities and self-motivation are important for effectively closing sales. Compensation/Benefits:
Base + commission for first year compensation of $27,000-$34,000
Rapid compensatin increases during years 2 and 3

Operations Coordinator Assistant/ Data Entry Position
Adventure Life Journeys is looking for a highly motivated individual to assist
our Adventure Coordinators. This is an office position in Missoula, Montana,
that requires excellent organization and communication skills. Duties involve
entering client information to database, assembling and mailing confirmation
packets, and assisting operations staff in coordinating tours. This person will
also assist in the daily routine of making the office run (answering phones,
filing, client mailings, etc). Excellent organizational and writing skills,
multitasking abilities and self-motivation are all key characteristics of a
successful Adventure Coordinator Assistant.
Desired Skills and Experience
This is a permanent part time position starting at 10 hrs/wk with the possibility of moving to 16 hrs/wk. Two 5-hour shifts Tuesday and Thursday would be ideal but schedule is somewhat flexible.

Adventure Life is offering a 3-5 month volunteer internship position in their Missoula office. The ecotourism industry is one of the most exciting and fastest growing industries on the planet, and Adventure Life is at the forefront of this field with its home-stay programs, rainforest lodges, small ship charters and native guides. Last year nearly 2,700 people traveled with us to places such as Machu Picchu in Peru, the Bolivian Amazon, the wild Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica's most remote rainforest, and the Western Hemisphere's largest coral reef off the shores of Belize.
Our company is going on its tenth year in Missoula. Each year we have added new itineraries, destinations and staff. Now, we're offering the chance for a university student to learn about ecotourism and assist us in our Missoula office.
The position requires a 3-month commitment for at least 3 days per week and 15-20 hours each week. The Adventure Coordinator Intern will have the challenging responsibilities of assisting in the daily routine of making the office run (assembling confirmation packets, assisting in client follow-up, answering phones, filing, client mailings).
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude. Students from all majors are encouraged to apply; we ask only that they possess a genuine enthusiasm for foreign cultures, ecology and history.
Internship Information
