Arrive at the airport and transfer to the harbor. Board a panga and head for the Seaman Journey.
After lunch and a brief orientation, sail for Leon Dormido, the remains of a lava cone eroded by the sea. The two vertical rocks tower 500 feet above the sea, forming a small channel. Sail through the channel and possibly snorkel between the rocks.
In the morning, journey to Pitt Point to view the endemic species of lava lizards and red-footed boobies. Snorkel in the shallows or relax on the beach.
In the afternoon, travel to Cerro Brujo and land on its white coral beach. View several land birds and snorkel with the curious sea lions which live on the island.
Sail for Punta Suarez, which sustains one of the most impressive and varied colonies of sea birds in the Galapagos archipelago. Hike the cliffs to sea soaring birds or set out to watch the blowhole.
After lunch, travel to Gardner Bay for swimming, snorkeling, and sea lion observation.
Arrive at Cormorant Point to view one of the best flamingo lagoons in the Galapagos. Situated between two lava cones, this secluded lagoon is also the home to common stilts, white-checked pintail ducks, and other migratory birds.
In the afternoon, travel to Post Office Bay and Baroness Lookout. Post Office Bay is known for its historical barrel, in which whalers and sailors used to place their mail. Take part in the tradition by leaving an addressed postcard or letter in the barrel for someone else to take and deliver by hand. If you see an address close to yours, feel free to take it home and deliver it, yourself!
In the morning, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn about tortoise conservation in the Galapagos. Reach out to interact with the tortoises which reside within its corrals.
In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your connection to the mainland.
