Turneffe Flats

Turneffe Flats is located on a picturesque point with coconut palms and white sand beaches surrounded by an incredibly beautiful marine environment. We are on the Eastern (seaward) side of the Atoll, approximately thirty miles from Belize City.

The resort holds 28 guests based on double occupancy.

The social center for Turneffe Flats is the Main Lodge where meals are served. A pre-dinner gathering for hors d'oeuvres and drinks is customary. The breezy verandah and a large screened porch are wonderful places to enjoy the tropical evening.

Our large, comfortable guest rooms are located on the beach and all have panoramic views of the Caribbean. Each room is centrally air-conditioned and furnished with one queen size bed and one extra long twin bed. All rooms have private baths with two sinks and a shower.

Meals are a tasty combination of Belizean and American dishes served family-style. Fresh fruit, fresh seafood and fresh baked pastries are standard fare. A hearty breakfast is served from approximately 6:45 - 7:45 a.m in the Main Lodge.

Management will visit with you each evening about your lunch preference for the following day. Depending on your activities planned for the day you can decide between taking a packed lunch or returning to the lodge. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails are served at 6:15. Dinner at 7:00 is the big meal of the day and the focal point of the evening. Entrees vary among seafood, chicken, pork and beef.

Our bar is well stocked with Scotch, Bourbon, Gin, Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Vermouth, several liqueurs, among others. In addition, we have red & white wine as well as local Belikin beer.

Turneffe Flats is operated with diesel generators, which supply 110/220V AC. Generators run around the clock but are NOT within hearing distance of guest rooms. Water at Turneffe Flats is supplied primarily by rainwater collection and desalinization. You can safely drink water from any of the taps at the lodge.
