The Napo Wildlife Center is the ultimate alternative luxury eco-hotel in Amazonian Ecuador. Napo Wildlife Lodge
The lodge consists of 12 luxury caba?as and a large dining hall with a library and a well-stocked bar. The lodge itself is beautiful with local architecture, hardwood floors and well considered amenities. Attached to the bar is a 50-foot viewing tower from which you can see the Andes on a clear day!

Nearby blinds built at parrot clay licks bring the action to you, a 120-foot canopy tower deep in the forest allows you to experience the life above the forest floor, and the natural attractions are simply unmatched in Amazonian Ecuador. Monkeys, Parrots, and Giant Otters during the day, with the comfort of a hot shower, tasty dinner, and a cold beer at the end of the day. Accommodations at Napo Wildlife Center:
The rooms are huge (over 450 sq. ft.), always clean, and include:
? one king-sized bed and one twin-sized bed (up to 3 people)

Other services:
Electricity: 24 hours electricity is provided by a hybrid power system, solar panels, batteries and last generation noiseless diesel engines. 110 volt plugs are located in either in the bathroom and the living area of each cabin. 220 volt plugs are located only in certain area of the lodge.

Water: Even if there?s plenty of fresh water in the Amazon, water of the lake in front of the lodge is used for the bathrooms at the lodge. This water its clean and safe for personal use, after use it is treated to avoid any lake pollution. Drinkable water is always available in big plastic containers to refill personal re-usable bottles in order to use less plastic. Hot water available all the time.

First aid kit: In case of any eventuality, first aids kits are taken to the excursions; excursion leaders have basic medical training to help in case of emergency. How ever, please inform the lodge manager or your excursion leader about any allergies or important medical conditions.

Ceiling Fan: There are ceiling fans on every room and also in all the dining room area.

Boutique: A wide variety of items for personal care, souvenirs, coffee mugs, t-shirts, vests, caps, hats, key holders, flashlights, sun block, mosquito repellent, etc. are available. Those will be included in the bar bill and payment will be made at the end of the tour in cash, travelers checks or credit card.

Communications: The Napo Wildlife Center has a two-way radio (vhf and hf) that connects the Lodge, the office in Quito, an office in Coca and all the facilities. Also there is satellite internet connection, available to guests for an additional fee.

Library: Open all day long, the library offers a wide variety of books, on a variety of subjects such as natural history, biology, conservation, and cultural books. Magazines, paperbacks and scientific reports are available.
