Day 1: Upper Vilcanota-Chuquicahauna Whitewater Rafting
1 Lunch
Early in the morning we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and drive through the mountains towards the southern part of Cusco, until we reach Chuquicahuana. Here you will receive your safety briefing and equipment as well as a brief practice in the flat parts of the river. Over the next 11 kilometers raft through a beautiful canyon with fast class III and IV rapids. Lunch will be en-route. Return to Cusco in the evening.
This trip is approximately 7 hours total with 3 hours on the water. The difficulty level is moderate with Class III and IV rapids.

This was my first experience with Adventure Life - and I couldn't have been more pleased with the trip. The guides and local staff in both Buenos Aires and Uruguay were terrific - extremely helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed meeting the friendly staff in Buenos Aires in person (I left my bags with them for the afternoon).
