Day 1 Arrive Bariloche lodge

Arrive to Bariloche today. Settle into your hotel for the evening.

Day 2 Cerro Campanario (B) lodge

Today you set out on the traditional Circuito Chico, taking in beautiful scenery of the surrounding lakes and forest. We will border the south bank of Lake Nahuel Huapi seeing various viewpoints. We will ascend to the summit of Cerro Campanario, taking a chairlift to see one of the best panoramic views in the region. Next we hike through the Llao Llao Municipal Park for an interpretive walk immersed in the native forests and lakes. 2 hours hiking.

Day 3 Explore Patagonia (B,L) lodge

Choose today from one of the following excursions:

Lake Gutierrez Kayaking
Today paddle in this Patagonian lake with incredible views of Mt. Catedral, Mt. Otto, and the native forest. We stop for lunch at one of the uninhabited beaches and then continue on the kayaks as we continue to explore this beautiful lake. Once on shore, we will be transferred back to Bariloche. Previous kayaking experience not required. Includes Lunch.
 
Whitewater Rafting (has an additional cost, please inquire)
Set out this day to tackle one of the best Patagonian adventures! You will feel the adrenaline rush as you take on the Class III-IV rapids near the Chilean border. Our trained guides will take you through private country with fantastic scenery to the river. Here enjoy a homemade breakfast and receive your equipment check and safety briefing. Next take on the river for about a 10 km ride mixing fun water entertainment with thrilling rapids in a spectacularly beautiful natural setting! At the end of the ride, you'll enjoy a Patagonian barbecue! Return to Bariloche this evening. Minimum age restriction: 14 yrs old. Includes Lunch.
 
La Esperanza Ranch and Horseback Riding
Today you are invited to one of the region's exclusive retreats in nature! Travel across the Nirihuau river enjoying amazing views of the nearby peaks to arrive at La Esperanza's main ranch house for your warm welcome. After a short introduction about Argentine riding technique, you will start your horseback ride to the Veranada (summer pasture fields), located 1450m above sea level. At these heights you may even spot a condor! Upon reaching the grazing area, you will feast on an assortment of mountain-style regional barbecue Argentinean asado and enjoy the views of the Andes mountain range. For the return, we take a route near Mount La Buitrera, which is a well known nesting site for condors. This afternoon head back to the city.

Day 4 Return Buenos Aires (B)

Enjoy a leisurely morning before transferring back to Buenos Aires for your return flight, or continue on to your next destination in Patagonia.
