Day 1 Arrive Granada

Its cobblestone streets and old convents and buildings tell a story about the Spanish, pirates, and a vast history of war and peace. Settle in to your hotel near the main plaza.
Day 2 Granada City and Isletas kayaking (B)
Day 3 Mombacho Volcano and Zipline (B,L,D)
This morning you will head to nearby Mombacho Volcano, an active volcano that last erupted in 1570. You will hop into an army cargo vehicle which takes you up the steep climb on the brick road to the top where you find a small biological station. Feel free to get out and explore the small exhibits in the station. The top part of this volcano is home to a cloudforest, housing some species of flora and fauna only found here. You can walk on the trails keeping your eyes peeled for wildlife, as well as find some lookouts allowing you to peer over into the now forested craters below.
On your way down the volcano, you will stop to take the zipline tour at the base of Mombacho! Zip across this 1500 meter zipline course suspended by canopy platforms. The tour offers fantastic views of Mombacho cloudforest and the nearby Lake Nicaragua. The course contains fifteen platforms and a twenty five meter long rope bridge!
After the zipline adventure, continue on to the Pacific coast. Settle into your treetop suite and enjoy the sound of the forest and lapping waves as you fall asleep this evening.
Days 4-6 Aqua Wellness Resort Free time (3B,3L,3D)
Aqua Wellness Resort sits on a sandy stretch of beach known as Redonda Bay. Recently voted as one of the finest beaches in Latin America, it is the perfect contrast between white sand, blue water, and rocky cliffs making it a spectacular natural environment for the traveler seeking reprieve form the world outside. The treetop construction lets you sleep elevated in the rainforest canopy, and the organic fine dining will treat your taste buds.
Your days at this beachfront retreat are yours to spend as you wish. Included in your stay are any number of nearby excursions, water sports and lessons. The resort overlooks Redonda Bay with white sand beaches protected from large swells by the surrounding cove. Enjoy a swim, snorkel or kayak here. The limited access keeps it feeling like a private beach. You may even spot Leatherback, hawksbill or Green turtles nesting during the right season! Try the well known surfing spots of Colorados and Manzanillo nearby. Fishing, Dolphin, and Whale-watching boat tours can also be arranged with pickup and dropoff from the resort.
Day 7 Return Home (B)
