Depart Quito on this 2 day extension and travel 40 miles east to an Andean paradise, Papallacta Hot Springs. Take time to savor these relaxing pools and enjoy the beauty of the lush flora and fauna all around. Overnight in Papallacta before returning to Quito.
Day 1 Quito to Papallacta 
Drive east towards the Oriente, viewing the spectacular and breathtaking high plains. Arrive in Papallacta, a small village located in the central highlands (10491ft/3200m) known for its natural hot springs where we'll be able to swim. Enjoy these restorating pools due to Papallacta's location between two volcanoes, Volcano Cayambe and Volcano Antisana.
Overnight in Papallacta.
Day 2 Return to Quito (B)
After breakfast we´ll do a short walk around the Papallacta lagoon and observe the flora and fauna. Enjoy a box lunch, in the afternoon return to Papallacta and down to Quito.
