Day 1 Urubamba River camp

(L,D)

Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel in Ollantaytambo and transfer to Pachar. Here you will receive your safety briefing and equipment as well as a brief practice in the flat parts of the river.  Admire the spectacular views of the mountains and archaeological sites on the way towards Ollantaytambo and its amazing Inca terraces in between the class II and III rapids.  Finish the three hour trip on the river with “El Resbaladero” (The Slide), a strong class III rapid that includes waves and small whirlpools.   Here we will set our camp, have dinner, and enjoy the beautiful sky of the Sacred Valley.

Day 2 Class IV Rapids. Return to Cusco

(B,L)

After breakfast, pack up and  head South of Cusco towards Chuquicahuana. Here we will have a fantastic opportunity to go down some constant class IV rapids for fun and wet ride for the next four hours with a break to relax and have lunch.   Transfer to Cusco.
