Cruise along the Danube aboard MS Beethoven. Begin in Vienna, where boarding starts in the evening. Sail overnight to Melk for a guided visit of its Benedictine Abbey, then continue through the scenic Wachau Valley to Durnstein. In Bratislava, choose between a guided city tour or an active hike with views from Devin Castle. Travel to Kalocsa for an excursion to the Puszta and a traditional horse show. Explore both Buda and Pest on a guided tour of Budapest, with optional visits to the Gellert Baths or market halls. Enjoy an evening of local entertainment before cruising to Esztergom for free time ashore. Back in Vienna, take guided tours of iconic sites such as Schonbrunn Castle, Hofburg Palace, and the Konzerthaus concert hall. End the journey with a classical music concert, subject to availability.

Boarding begins at 6:00 p.m. After settling into cabins, the crew will be introduced during a welcome cocktail. The ship departs at 8:00 p.m. for Melk and will sail overnight.
*Passengers will choose either the Classic or Discovery package to participate in for the duration of the voyage. Depending on the excursion, a minimum number of participants may be required for Discovery excursions and it needs to be booked at least 2 months prior to sailing.
Take part in a CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion with a guided tour of Melk Abbey. The ship will then cruise to Durnstein through the Wachau Valley. Upon arrival, join a tour of Durnstein.
DISCOVER: Hiking in Bratislava: the Little Carpathians. From Devin Castle, take in the splendid view of Bratislava. The afternoon will be spent cruising.
Join a CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion:: Guided tour of Budapest, the metropolis that was once two distinct cities united only in 1873: Buda, on one bank with its rolling hills and valleys; and Pest, on the other, with its flatter landscape offering a panoramic view over the banks of the Danube.
Join optional excursions: Discover the Gellert Baths and Spa (not included in the packages) or the Budapest Market Halls (not included in the packages).
In the evening, join a CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion: Evening of traditional entertainment in Budapest.
CLASSIC: Guided visit of Vienna and Schonbrunn Castle.
DISCOVERY: The High Art of Viennese Living: Music and Viennese Cafes. Stroll through the city and visit backstage at the Konzerthaus (2) concert hall. After your tour, enjoy a steaming cup of Vienna coffee and a delicious pastry.
In the afternoon, join us on a CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion: Guided tour of Hofburg Palace. In the evening, join a CLASSIC / DISCOVERY excursion(1): Concert of Viennese music (subject to availability).
