Day 2: Papeno'o Valley | Tahiti Island Activities - 4WD Tour
After a delicious breakfast at the resort, be ready for a guided island tour to explore the natural wonders of Tahiti. Experience an introduction to the heart of the island of Tahiti in a comfortable 4WD vehicle. Your guide of the day shares information about the flora of the island and the use of plants in medicinal traditions, talks about the valley's flora and fauna, teaches about the island's geological history, and tells the stories and legends of long-age Tahitian chiefdoms. During the exploration, stop at natural pools and rivers for swimming. Eventually, the tour ends at the legendary "Lake Vaihiria," home to the sacred eel that brought the coconut tree to life. The breathtaking viewpoints are only going to make this experience vivid and colorful. This itinerary is subject to change based on weather conditions.
On this day, the departure time is 8:30 in the morning, and there is a roundtrip transfer from the hotel to Papeno'o Valley. Day 4: Taha'a | Raiatea Island Activities - 4x4 Safari Adventure & Coral Garden Snorkeling
After breakfast, prepare for an exciting full-day 4x4 safari adventure exploring the stunning Taha'a lagoons with the company of an enthusiastic guide. Start your tour in a 4x4 vehicle to visit the Pari Pari rum distillery in Tapuamu. Then, stop at the belvedere between the districts of Haamene and Tiva. You then head to the vanilla farm to learn more about growing this plant. You will also have the opportunity to taste tropical fruits and fresh homemade juice before leaving. The rest of the excursion will take you to discover different botanical stopping points of useful and important plants in the life of Polynesians. You will be entitled to a stop for the presentation of the "coco show.". The last stop will be at the pearl farm, where you will receive complete explanations of the production of the pearl until its commercialization.
Experience a local lunch with raw fish in coconut milk, korori carpaccio (muscle of the pearl oyster), hot cold tuna, baked chicken, sweet potato gratin, plantain (fei), and rice. To drink, enjoy water, lemonade or beer.
After lunch, set out by boat for an excursion on Taha'a lagoon, heading towards the coral garden, where you can let the ocean waves carry you away to see the corals and marine life as they are in their natural habitat.

Day 7: Bora Bora Island Activities - Polynesian Day
Bora Bora is an ancient volcano on one of the world’s most beautiful lagoons. It offers infinite shades of blue, from the most translucent to the deepest. Shaded by coconut trees and surrounded by an emerald and fishy lagoon, the Motu (islets) of white sand beaches. The harmony of the decor is perfect. Take a motorized Polynesian cruise around the lagoon and explore open aquariums filled with a diverse range of fish. Your guide will take you to the best location for snorkeling. You will also be taken closer to the reef in shallow waters to observe and swim with the eagle rays.
One of the highlights of this experience is undoubtedly going beyond the reef, where you will be greeted by larger fish, lemon sharks, and sea turtles. During the full-day experience, the tour is extended on one of the dreamy private islands for a tasty lunch, feet in the water. The rest of the day will go as you please: walks on the beach, snorkeling, shell picking, crafts, etc. This “Polynesian Day” experience is highly recommended!

Kindly be aware that the range of resort activities provided may differ among hotels and may not all be covered in the tour price. The itinerary will include a stay in an overwater bungalow in Moorea. Our guide and driver were very good with their knowledge and were very helpful with our questions. It was a very pleasant visit that would have been impossible to do on our own. Hotels and restaurants were fantastic. The special places we got to go to, like the kitchens, were great. Enjoyed the entire trip!

The response from Adventure Life to my first inquiry was prompt and promising. I worked with Jamie Broeckel, Trip Planner, via text, email, and phone calls- always extremely responsive and thorough with information and explaining the process to arrange a private tour for me to Malaysia Borneo. Within about week, the booking was complete and I made decisions because of Jamie's great customer service , friendly manner, and overall competence on behalf of the company's travel expertise. Now I have an itinerary, additional Trip Planner Assistants, several links for vital information for traveling to Maylasia, etc. Still many details for Sept. trip, but now the heavy lifting is done and I can enjoy the rest of the anticipation and research!! The trip was not only memorable for the amount of animals we saw but also for the people and accommodations at the two camps where we stayed. Our first guide, BK, was a wealth of information about the animals, landscape and down to the plants and what they were used for. Everyday out was a learning experience with him. All the people at the camps were gracious and the food was excellent.
Our second camp in the Okavanga was just as good as the first as far as the staff, accommodations, food and animals. After our experience at the first camp we amazed that the high quality remained the same. Our guide, G, made sure we were able to enjoy every experience including a rush through the bush to witness a cheetah and an ensuing hunt that he heard over his radio.
In both camps there were enough guides out that if they saw something the other guides were informed which helped in seeing as much as possible. It was also nice that the concessions were large enough that we did not have vehicles following each other throughout the day.
Normally there is always something in a trip of this length that we think could be improved upon but this is the rare case where we cannot think of anything. From the time we left the States to when we returned it was one of the most hassle free vacations we took.
Perhaps emphasizing the use of the laundry facilities at the camps would be useful because of the luggage restrictions would be the only thing I can think of as an improvement to future clients.
