Day 1 Arrive Belize lodge

(D)

Arrive at the Belize International Airport where you'll be met by a representative and transferred to the dock in Belize City. Make sure you are dressed comfortably and don't forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat! From Belize City you board the transfer vessel for the spectacular 30-mile trip to Turneffe Atoll. Turneffe Flats is located on the eastern side of the Atoll, on a picturesque point with coconut palms and white sand beach. On arrival you will have drinks and a short registration at the main lodge, and then check into your air-conditioned, beach-front cabin. The rest of the day is yours to settle into your new home in the Caribbean - enjoy the white sand, the sound of a sea breeze through the coconut palms, and a view of the surf crashing on the unspoiled coral reef for miles in either direction. This evening meet your fellow guests and enjoy pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres and cocktails before a delicious dinner in our Main Lodge.
