Day 1

Kangerlussuaq, Greenland

Fly from Paris to Kangerlussuaq and transfer to the port. Before boarding the ship, take part of an optional excursion to the Polar Cap. Embark between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, then set sail on your amazing Arctic cruise!

*Round-trip airfare to/from Kangerlussuaq/Paris is included in the cruise fare.

Days 2-3

Illulissat - Disko Bay, Greenland

At the heart of Disko Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Ilulissat Icefjord provides an extraordinary spectacle of almost surreal beauty. The sculptural icebergs continue on their timeless journey, shimmering with their eternal light. Vast pieces of ice break off from the bergs and rejoin the inexorable movement of the sea. Close by lies the town of Ilulissat, the region’s principal destination. Encircled by icebergs, it has retained a unique mix of traditional Arctic life, with multicolored wooden houses, huskies and the leather tanners who still work today using the ancient methods of their ancestors.

*An additional evening cruise is available on day 2 of the cruise, as well as additional kayaking and guided walking tours around the ice fjords on day 3.

Day 4

Eqi Glacier / Paul Emile Victor Base

Today, explore one of Greenland's most impressive and breathtaking sights, Eqi Glacier. Also, stop and hike around Paul-Emile VICTOR Base Camp, where the French explorer led Polar and Trans-Greenland land expeditions with sleds and huskies.

Day 5

Upernavik Fjord, Greenland

Explore the stunning Upernavik Fjord, which flows to the northwest between two island chains, and empties into Baffin Bay.

Day 6

Melville Bay, Greenland

Today, travel around the fascinating Melville Bay, an area covered with ice and glaciers. Here, you may be able to see narwhals, belugas, and polar bears.

Day 7

Savissivik, Greenland

Sail to Savissivik, an amazing area filled with numerous meteorite fragments that have been found in the area.

Day 8

Thule, Greenland

Today, stop in the interesting city of Thule, full of meteorite fragments and home to the United States Air Force's most northern base.

Day 9

Pond Inlet, Nunavut, Canada

Start your Nunavut journey in Pond Inlet, located at the entrance of the Northwest Passage. Formerly called Tununiq by the Inuit, this region was long ago inhabited by their ancestors, the Thule, who left behind numerous archaeological artifacts, little vestiges of the past. No matter where you look, your eyes will alight upon a unique landscape of snow-capped mountain ranges, each more beautiful than the last, standing opposite ice-blue glaciers whose vertiginous flows descend into the ocean. Don’t miss the opportunity to see the bird colonies of Bylot Island; your route will sail you close to this uninhabited "Garden of Eden" so that you may wonder at its natural marvels.

Day 10

North Arm Fjord, Nunavut, Canada

Spend today admiring the beautiful mountains, glaciers, and valleys surrounding North Arm Fjord. In this amazing wilderness area, you can also spot many migratory bird sanctuaries.

Day 11

Clyde River, Nunavut, Canada

Today, explore the gorgeous Inuit hamlet of Clyde River. This area is located on the shores of Baffin Island's Patricia Bay, in the Arctic Cordillera mountain range.

Day 12

Isabella Bay, Nunavut, Canada

Spend today taking in the pristine Arctic treasure of Isabella Bay, where you may see groups of threatened Davis Strait-Baffin Bay bowhead whales. Then, begin the journey across the remarkable Davis Strait.

Day 13

After crossing the Davis Strait, spend your last day in the charming fishing village of Sisimiut.
