There is only one hotel in Farellones who is the expert about the best skiing in Chile. Enjoy friendly, personalized service and unforgettable ski getaways in one of the three main ski resorts in Chile, located in close proximity to Hotel Posada Farellones. Ski and snowboard in the three most important ski centers of South America with the most skiable terrain in the southern hemisphere: Farellones- Colorado, La Parva and Valle Nevado.

The Hotel
Posada de Farellones hotel has a marked Swiss style, where wood and stone are mixed to create a lively, cozy atmosphere. All of the rooms have a private ensuite bathroom. Customized service, high quality gastronomy and a warm atmosphere constitute the main characteristics of this fine hotel.

Enjoy the modern facilities: an excellent restaurant - Los Condores, a living room with a large fireplace, satellite TV, board games and a Nintendo, fully furnished rooms with a TV, ensuite bathroom, telephone, safe-deposit box and central heating, a lobby with currency exchange, Internet and fax service, Wi Fi in common areas, an indoor hydromassage jacuzzi, a ski room with a boot-drying machine, ski and snowboard rental, Heli-Ski service and daily transport to and from the ski centers of El Colorado and La Parva (just 10 minutes away from the hotel).

Restaurant
The delicious gastronomy of the hotel restaurant is one of the mos defining feature of the hotel. Enjoy superb quality and the result of much attention to detail paid to every ingredient. The use of prime quality products and the very particular care that goes into the preparation of various specials make for a high quality, refined cuisine. After a day on the slopes and much burning of calories, skiers are, of course, in need of good food. At Posada de Farellones such needs are met and surpassed.

The daytime menu includes pastas (original italian recipes), red meat, fish and seafood dishes and vegetarian dishes, as well as delicious mountain recipes for dessert. The restaurant is open to everyone for lunch from 13:00 - 17:00 hrs. Complement your meal with a choice selection from the collection of prestigious Chilean wines. Supper is for hotel guests only and is served at 20:00, so as to maintain a warm, family atmosphere with all hotel guests.

Ski Chile
Hotel Posada de Farellones will transport guests free of charge to both El Colorado-Farellones and La Parva resorts. The drive takes about 10 minutes. Furthermore, guests can be transported to the Valle Nevado resort. The drive takes about 20 minutes and incurs an additional fee based on number of passengers. A Chile skiing adventure starts here with the most amazing mountains in the Andes; fresh powder and groomed areas for all kind of skiers. Privileged Location
Posada de Farellones hotel is found amid Farellones single forest, some 2,400m above sea level and only 36km away from Santiago, the capital of Chile. This destination is one of the most unique places in all of the country of Chile. Enjoy easy access to three of Chile's main ski centers, and enjoy connection by ground transfer to Ski Portillo Resort (around 2 hours drive from Farellones Ski resort).

Transportation Details
Daily shuttle from hotel to Ski Resorts like La Parva and Colorado Ski resort are free of charge for guests provided is taken during scheduled times. Additional pickup and drop off times can be arranged for a minimal additional fee. It is possible to ski dwon from the Colorado ski resort to Farellones or even to Hotel, which is about 5 miles of skiing. This is for advanced and experts skiers because most of this area is not groomed.

Basic schedule of operation is pickup times in the morning between 9:00am � 10:00am, with return transfers from 16:45 pm � 17:30 pm. Of course the exact schedule shall always depend upon road conditions and guests arriving at the meeting point on time.

For land transfers cars, vans and Mercedes Benz senior class buses are used, which take up to 20 people. All guides and drivers are experienced in driving on mountain roads and in tough conditions.

Ski Rental
All three resorts (El Colorado � Farellones, La Parva & Valle Nevado) offer to hotel guests a huge variety of ski and snowboard equipment to rent. You will find equipment of standard level all the way through to the highest level of performance, as well as a variety of services, at reasonable, convenient prices. Payment can be arranged in either Chilean Peso cash or with a credit card in US Dollars or Chilean Pesos.

Snow & Climate

This location has the privilege of particularly dry snow with a smooth crystalline structure, placing it among the best in the world. Come and feel the silence of the Chilean Andes and her pristine snow.

Heli-Ski Option
From La Parva ski centre, the Heliski helicopter takes off in the direction of peaks five minutes away. The region is enormous. Find vast fields of virgin snow at 100,000 feet and never ski the same slope twice. Waterfalls, rock walls with heaps of powder, valleys and ice fields come together in a wonderfully picturesque landscape that will leave you breathless and which you�ll never forget.

Ski Resorts
These three ski resorts of Chile offer some of the world's most outstanding skiing and are easily accessible for North American & European skiers and snowboarders. These excellent three main Chilean ski resorts are appreciated by many who return year on year for their excellent skiing.
