This Galapagos cruise highlights the archipelago's beautiful southern islands. This 5-day allows you to experience all facets of the southwestern archipelago as you kayak, snorkel and hike your way through the islands! Spot a myriad of native species including sea lions, sharks, marine birds, and sea turtles. Take pleasure in the wide variety of flora and fauna here as well as spectacular scenery.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Our guide will be waiting for you at San Cristobal Airport and will accompany you to the Archipell at Baquerizo Moreno harbor. After arrival on board, you will check in and receive general information. There will be lunch followed by an excursion to the Galapaguera which is located in the northeast part of San Cristobal Island. This was created to conserve the San Cristobal tortoise species and has the goal of guiding the tourists in conservation topics and protection of the environment. This area contains native plants and giant tortoises in their natural habitat.
South Plaza has unique Sesuvium plants and Opuntia cactuses scattered across the landscape. This area provides some of the most interesting wildlife observations available in Galapagos. Witness land iguanas from the trail hiding under the shade of cactuses. Santa Fe is one of the most entertaining destinations for shore excursions at Galapagos Islands. There will be two trail choices for visitors here. Hike to the tallest Opuntia cactus in the Galapagos or to the highlands where land iguanas can be found. Swim in calm waters or snorkel with spirited sea lions.
An artisan spring is located at the Peace Asylum. Being one of the few year-round sources of fresh water, this spring attracted pirates, whalers, and later settlers to Floreana. The original settlers landed at La Cueva de los Piratas (Pirate's Cave) is a location where pirates carved temporary shelter out of soft stone. La Loberia is a small beach area, which is home to a colony of sea lions, as well as some marine iguanas. Walk there from town for some recreational snorkeling an possibly spot a ray or a shark.
Charles Darwin Research Station contains an information center, a museum, a library and a tortoise breeding station where one can encounter tortoises of different subspecies. These tortoises are being prepared for reintroduction to their natural habitats. The Highlands of Santa Cruz have incredible zones of vegetation for exploration. Visit the private farm Las Primicias that offers one of the best possibilities to see the huge turtles of Santa Cruz Island at close range.

Tortuga Bay is considered to be as one of the most beautiful beaches in Galapagos and the sunsets here are just brilliant. It is also a favorite place for sea turtles, sea lions, marine iguanas, pelicans, flamingos and lava gulls which are local to the Islands. The beach was named after the sea turtles.

We are so glad that we chose Adventure Life. The service is top-notch. Everything is well taken care of and we just have to print the documents and go. Franny even gave us timely updates on possible airport strike.

I spoke with at least a half dozen other travel companies, looking for a Galapagos cruise that fit our schedule and budget. Some companies could manage one or the other, but Erin was the only one who could do both. She found us the perfect cruise, at a fantastic price! And she has been quick and patient with responses to my many questions. So far, Adventure Life has been a fantastic company to work with!
