HOME » Chile Travel » Hosteria Lago Grey This is our primary hotel choice in this location, though availability is not guaranteed. If a given hotel is not available for your tour date, we will reserve you a room at a hotel of similar appeal and quality in the same area. Hosteria Lago Grey
The Hosteria Lago Grey is set in the heart of Torres del Paine National Park. The facilities and staff of the Hosteria ensure your stay is comfortable, personalized and accompanied by a high quality of service. From all the windows of the Hosteria you can marvel at the beautiful surrounding scenery - the magnificence of the towering peaks of the Paine's mountain range, the glaciers flowing out of the Southern Ice Field and the native forest surrounding the Hosteria. All rooms within the Hosteria have private bathrooms, central heating, and telephones. Guests are offered a complimentary continental breakfast. A restaurant and fully-stocked bar are also available. The Hosteria is the ideal place for resting or using as a base for daily excursions into the Park.
Found within this impressive landscape are numerous examples of native fauna hard to observe in other places. Wildlife found includes the Red Fox and Huemul (a local deer which is one of the two Chilean heraldic animals). The area also offers numerous bird spotting opportunities. If you elect to take a hike with one of the Hosteria's bilingual guides you will be with one of the experts for both spotting wildlife and explaining their habits.
