Enjoy an extension on your Belize tour with a stay at Lighthouse Reef, one of the most beautiful atolls in Belize. Stay in a comfortable tent on the beach and explore the atoll by day via kayak. Immerse yourself in this tropical paradise as you kayak, hike, and explore to your heart's content. The perfect conclusion to your tour of Belize, secluded Lighthouse Reef is sure to delight.
Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Meet in the lobby of the Belize Biltmore Plaza and transfer to your motor charter at 9:00am. Travel through white sand cayes and mangrove ranges, through the heart of Turneffe Atoll and past the main Barrier Reef to Lighthouse Reef Atoll at the furthest edge of the Belize Reef System, 60miles offshore of the mainland. On reaching Halfmoon Caye settle into your new island getaway and enjoy your first lunch on the island. Your guides will provide instruction on sea kayaking, snorkeling, and water safety on the sea.
After a healthy Belizean breakfast, gather to plan the day's activities. Venture forth into a world of turquoise waters, solitary beaches, and a remarkable abundance of marine life. Explore the Ermlund, a shipwreck which looms just north of the caye. Wrecked in 1971, the ship remains silently on the reef. Due to it’s isolation from the mainland, the waters of Lighthouse Reef Atoll are exceptionally clear with a fabulously rich reef system that offers some of the best kayaking, snorkeling and diving in the Caribbean

This was our first trip to South America and we were a little nervous. But Adventure Life made things so easy! All our questions were answered before we left, and our guide, Vidal, was amazing! He gave us enough space to explore without rushing us along. He also knew where the best picture taking opportunities were, which was great.

Hannah and Nur got the gist of what we wanted our trip to be. They got us in hotels that were located centrally to historic tours. Tours and excursions that were significant, enriching and enjoyable. We had drivers that were on time/reliable. We got from location to location with ease. I would never have been able to plan this myself. I would not have known enough to ask for what we needed. This was above and beyond what I expected. Well done!

This is at least the fifth trip we have booked with AdventureLife. Jess has always had excellent ideas.
