The Basecamp on Half Moon Caye is a tropical adventure camp that offers spectacular wilderness to kayakers and snorkelers. Found 55 miles off the mainland of Belize, the camp is built around an inner protected lagoon and fringed with white sand beaches, large reef system, and a forested interior.

The remote location of the camp allows a remarkably intimate experience with nature and takes you away from the stress and rush of everyday life. The camp offers several canvas-walled cabanas, which sit on raised wooden floors about six inches above the sand. Spacious and similar to safari-style tents, the cabanas provide ample headroom to walk around. Each cabana features either double or single wooden-framed beds with six-inch foam mattresses. The cabanas are the size of a small bedroom, roughly 8x12, with a wood floor and various other furnishings such as a nightstand, oil lamp, and shelves.
