Involves minimal physical effort and is typically associated with leisurely activities. Activities are low-intensity or last less than a few hours each day.
Embark in Reykjavik, Iceland, in the evening. This attractive harbor city is located just a few kilometers from the Icelandic capital. You get there by sea, and can see the fishing boats moored in the Hafnarfjörður bays. As you approach, see the immersed rocks of volcanic origin; in fact, Hafnarfjörður is built on an ancient field of lava flow. In the town center, basalt rocks point you in the direction of the historic houses of Sivertsen and Siggubær: their interiors and period furniture bring old Iceland back to life before your very eyes. Not far from here, you can fill your lungs with sea air by taking the coastal walk, which is well worth it for the beautiful, panoramic views. Overnight in port.
Spend your first day in Hafnarfjordur, a charming port town and municipality located on the southwest coast of Iceland. Hafnarfjordur is known for its wildly shaped lava formations, fantastic museums, variety of shops and restaurants, and geothermal swimming pools.
Navigate along the west coast of Greenland, exploring fjords and glaciers. Head to Narsaq, a striking agricultural town in Greenland situated in a giant fjord system known for hiking, mineral deposits and cowboy history. The area is a great place to explore, and is full of abundant wildlife including seals, salmon, trout, and whales as well as icebergs from the nearby glacier.
Spend your day exploring Nuuk, Greenland’s capital city and its largest. Nuuk extends gradually over Davis Strait and boasts a historic center with a particularly rich heritage. The vivid reds, blues, greens, and yellows of the houses are a lively contrast to the somber waters of Greenland and serve to lift the spirits of the locals during the winter months. Nuuk is visually emotive and imbued with the expressions of the tundra, the sea, and the sky.
Cruise to Equi Glacier, one of the most impressive sites of the region. Here, the silence is broken only by the roaring and cracking of the ice. It is impossible to know if one is shivering from cold or from the sheer thrill of being here. Imagine the vast outline of a glacier, its translucent crystals glowing with an ice-blue fire in the sunlight. Paul-Emile Victor’s shelter cannot be overlooked; it was from here that the French Polar Expeditions’ anthropological and geographic explorations set off in the 1950s.
At the heart of Disko Bay - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Ilulissat Icefjord provides an extraordinary spectacle of almost surreal beauty. Embark on an unforgettable adventure aboard a local boat to discover this river of ice. When the light changes as the sun’s angle shifts, the icebergs display strange colors, draping themselves in gold, pink, red and mauve as off in the distance the houses light up for nightfall. In the isolated bay, the horizon, water, and ice meld together and become one. Experience this timeless adventure and celebrate the immensity of the landscapes Greenland has to offer.
Spend the day admiring beautiful fjords and watching for amazing Arctic wildlife.

The trip was terrific with great planning on your part. Most of the adventures were not mainstream and somewhat off the beaten path which made it especially enjoyable!! We felt taken care of and you all were readily available to respond to questions and issues. I would highly recommend your company and friends have already expressed interest based on our pictures and excitement.

Hannah and Nur got the gist of what we wanted our trip to be. They got us in hotels that were located centrally to historic tours. Tours and excursions that were significant, enriching and enjoyable. We had drivers that were on time/reliable. We got from location to location with ease. I would never have been able to plan this myself. I would not have known enough to ask for what we needed. This was above and beyond what I expected. Well done!
