Sail the northern islands aboard the La Pinta on a 5-day Galapagos cruise. This small ship adventure takes you to the islands of Santa Cruz, Bartolome, and Genovesa. Experience the sea lions, sea birds, and giant Galapagos tortoises which first made this island archipelago famous.

Day 1

    Baltra - Santa Cruz Island

Arrive at the Baltra airport and transfer to La Pinta for your Galapagos cruise!

Begin your tour at El Chato, a reserve in the highlands of Santa Cruz. Observe giant tortoises in the wild and take a nature hike through the humid zone of the highlands.

    Day 2

Santa Cruz Island - Chinese Hat

Begin your morning at Bachas Beach and hope to see the tracks of the Pacific Green Sea Turtle in the sand. The white sand beach is perfect for meandering, or snorkeling is always an option.

In the afternoon, travel to Sombrero Chino (Chinese Hat) to play snorkel with a colony of sea lions or relax on the white coral beach.

      Day 3

        Bartolome - Santiago

Visit Pinnacle Rock and the White Sand Beach for opportunities to photograph the Galapagos penguin. Snorkel and play with sea lions as they scoot towards you on the sand.

In the afternoon, sail for the Sullivan Bay lava field. This unique field has a variety of interesting patterns made by the shapes and textures of trees that once existed on the island.

        Day 4

In the morning, travel to the coral beach of Darwin Bay. Take a short hike which leads you through seabird colonies and a large red-footed booby colony.

In the afternoon, take the wooden staircase up Prince Phillip’s Step (El Barranco) for panoramic views of the island.

          Day 5

In the morning, transfer to the Baltra airport for your connection to the mainland.

All itineraries are subject to change due to weather or changes by the National Park Service or yacht operator.
