The Argentine Patagonia's three distinct bioregions need protection.

The PLT is concentrating its initial preservation efforts in three bioregions: the wild coastline of the southern Atlantic, the grasslands that border the Andes and the southern beech forests. PLT is targeting large landholdings that can be purchased inexpensively without major restoration costs, and that need rest and respite from overgrazing, hunting and deforestation.

Your donation can make a significant contribution to saving Patagonia's wildlands.

The Argentine government strongly favors establishing new national parks and ecological reserves, and welcomes private contributions for land acquisition and restoration. Land costs in Argentina make this approach particularly effective. Wildlands philanthropists have a historic opportunity in Argentina to create a legacy of biodiversity and wilderness for future generations.
